Dear Liz,

 

Here is something to think about: at the time of birthing the newborn child

will have the highest iron count he/she will ever have in their entire life.

Iron, in anthroposophic medicine, is said to be the carrier force, the anchor,

for the incarnating soul (ego). Therefore carrying a stone high in iron...such

as garnet, carnelian and iron pyrite is a good choice. Rose Quartz has an iron

content, that is where it gets its rosy coloring from...and is always

recommended for children and the child spirit.

 

To couple that energy at the time of birth the birthing mother has triple the

amount of copper in her body that she Will ever have in her entire life. Copper

conducts the electrical forces of protection linking her and the newborn child.

Therefore a stone high in copper, particularly green for the heart chakra is a

wise choice. I recommend dioptase or malachite.

 

I always recommed Jade as well as it is very rich in micro-elements.

 

So have an amazing birthing experience. If you are able to get these crystals

at such a late date than go ahead. If you can just get rose quartz or carnelian

than that will be good. Remember the same elements found in all crystal exists

already within you, the human crystal. All in divine order.

Hi Elizabeth,

What I know from Talmudic sources and personal experience is that Chrysocolla

is good for an easy birth BUT hands off Rubies which hinder the birth. One of my

clients told me that she took a Rubi to give birth and the child wouldn't move

until someone in the hospital told her that the Rubi is interfering and as soon

as she put the Rubi aside the child was born without further trouble.

Enhydro quartz supports pregnancy,so I don't see why it wouldn't asist in the

birth as well. Plus rose quartz for love, and amethyst for protection

Here are my suggestions...good luck and blessings for the birth...Tracy

 

For labour -pain associated with Carnelian, moss agate

 

When the baby is born, put peridot in crib for the first few hours to help

adjust to outside world

 

and lets not forget you---Mother-lepidolite ,amber and malachite (if you are

comfortable, take this as a gem elixir (made of course by indirect method) from

now until the birth. Drink a few drops three times a day and this will help

prepare your body for the job it has ahead of it...Hope these suggestions

help...and use as many as you are drawn to and forget the rest...Tracy
