Charoite

Hi,

As I've already mentioned, I have a special love for gemstones from Siberia,

especially the Charoite and Seraphinite. The Charoite has a powerful but sublime

energy which connects the base with the heart, third eye and crown chakras and

energizes one's will power to DO what has to be done. It also shields a person

from drawing to much attention and thus helps to carry out a task without too

much interference. It also helps a person to act on the quiet and keep secret

his/her identity. I always take a piece with me when I want to go unnoticed

Somewhere precarious (For example, when I go via the Arab Bazar in the old

city of Jerusalem on my way to the Western Wall and I don’t want to draw

attention to myself).

 

When I first saw this rock at my supplier's storehouse I was intrigued and

asked him where it came from. He told me it came from Siberia and I chose one

piece for myself so that I can learn more about it. My method of checking the

energies of a gem is as follows:

(1) first I take the stone into my left hand and whisper 3 times the

Hebrew verse from the Biblical book of Psalms (chapter 119, verse 18) “Open my

eyes, that I behold hidden secrets from your teachings” and randomly open my

small Hebrew Bible. I do this 3 times and compare the 3 verses that “jump” into

my view and then I deduce the stone’s energies. (I use the Hebrew Bible in place

of Tarot cards).

(2) I carry the stone with me for a week and note what happens.

(3) I sleep with the stone under my pillow and note what type of dreams I

have.

I checked the Charoite with the Bible on a Sabbath when the New Moon was in

Taurus (Taurus is connected with the treasures of the earth – like gemstones).

The first verse from the first opening that caught my eye was in the book of

Judges (chapter 3, verse 21): “And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the

sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his (= Eglon, King of Moab)

belly”.

The first verse from the second opening which caught my eye was also from the

book of Judges (chapter 6, verse 27):”Then Gideon took ten men of his servants,

and did as the LORD had spoken unto him; and it came to pass, because he feared

his father's household and the men of the city, so that he could not do it by

day, that he did it by night.”

The first verse from the third opening which caught my eye was also from the

book of Chronicles 1 (chapter 28, verse 20):” And David said to Solomon his son:

'Be strong and of good courage, and do it; fear not, nor be dismayed; for the

LORD God, even my God, is with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee,

until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD be finished.”

All three verses mention a Divine promise for protection from all evil,

especially enemies and a message not to fear evil but to do what is right

without fear.

Also, my house is built on a subterranean cave and one of the spirits living

there also comes (either as a shadow of a hooded individual or even by tapping

on my shoulder) to remind me to go to sleep when I work to late and the

encounter is scary for me and makes my blood freeze. When I meditated on each

piece of Charoite choosing the appropriate name during the early hours of Friday

after midnight I noticed that this spirit didn’t come this time to send me to

sleep. I felt that the Charoite is a good guardian stone against intruding

spirits. It also helps to remove the fear of failure which can be crippling. It

is an excellent protection stone for people who live undercover and are forced

to hide their real identity, e.g. police detectives, etc. and helps them to feel

that everything they do is their Divine mission on earth.

My late mentor was 20 years a prisoner of Zion in the Stalinist prison camps

in the region of the Chary River at Aldan in Siberia, Russia – the only place

where the Charoite is found. He used to tell me that only those who didn’t let

fear consume their spirit had a chance of surviving. I personally believe that

the location where the Charoite is mined is a definite indication to its

energies.

I saw on Mike Eggleston's blogg < http://www.awakened1.blogspot.com/ > a picture

of a tree inside a bubble of light (entry from Thursday, April 13, 2006) - this

picture strongly reminds me of the visions I have when scrying into a piece of

Charoite.
