Guest guest
Hi--I'm a real rookie at this, just like crystals and stones a lot, no idea how really to use them. But twice in the past week or so, I've had the experience of holding a stone (a crysocolla last week, and a celestite today) and having bits of it break off. I was running my thumb over the crysocolla so that was a little bit understandable, although I've done it before and nothing flaked off. But today, I was just holding the celestite in my hand and when I went to put it down a little piece jumped off. It made me wonder if this is an energy thing of some sort, and doesn't just indicate my stones were flawed. Thanks for any education you can provide. --Martha How low will we go? Guest guest
Hi Martha....dont worry about the Celestite. Despite its quartz like looks, it is pretty fragile. I have a little cluster, and the same thing happened to it. But now, you have two pieces! Guest guest
Thanks, James & Tracy for responding. The pieces that broke off were so tiny I can't even find them in the carpet--I just felt them go. But if a bigger piece ever breaks off, I'll try your suggestions! --Martha Tracy <riden.c wrote:I just thought I would share as I felt a connection with your post...I also have had little bits of crystals break off while working with them...this is what I did...I took a glass vile?sp??you know little bottle. I put the little pieces in the bottle and then turned the bottle into a necklace and wherever I go now I get compliements on the necklace. I thought I would share and let you know what I do with my pieces of spirit that choose to branch off on their own...Just an idea...if the piece is too big I place the piece in an old bird nest that sits on my crystal altar and that brings me great joy and it sparks memories as to the purpose of the crystal...the intent I was working with and such...hope these ideas are okay to share...Tracy Messenger with Voice.
