mixing modalities

We had been discussing Combining crystal Healing with Reiki and other

modalities on the other list and I thought I'd repost some my comments

here as a lead in to further discussion .I do mix modalities though I

am against combining methods entirely for the purpose of combining

methods . I think it would be useful for us to share some of the

specific ways that we might work with crystals in combination with

other practices .

 

When someone asks for a Reiki treatment I only formally combine crystals with

the Reiki treatment when I really get a strong internal guidance to do so. Many

crystals are in the same area as my Reiki table so there is often a flow

between the different modalities. Most of the time people do end up holding a

crystal or stone at some point. I have tried out many of the traditional

combination practices but seldom do layouts or have clients hold crystals during

A Reiki treatment anymore. I don't usually keep grids under the Reiki table.

During a treatment I will call on activate or include whatever mode and method I

feel guided to work with but do not plan to automatically combine modes. I've

found that deliberately squeezing in more modalities does not often serve the

greatest good.

 

There is a big difference between having a client hold a crystal or two during

a Reiki treatment or following an

intuitive sense of rightness and just doing everything you can do just because

you can.

 

I've had a large number of encounters with different practitioners during

healing sessions where different modes

were kind of piled on without real regard for the needs of the client or the

value of the treatment.When a practitioner is doing Reiki and massage and

aromatherapy, hypnosis, shamanism, herbalism smudging, chanting, trance

dance, invoking Gods, Goddesses, Angels, and Animal totems, flower essences,

magick spells, oils and powders, and dumping piles of crystals on until the

client starts to feel crushed, ALL at once. my experience is that the main

benefit is

usually to the practitioners ego.

Yes The Crystal Deva and the Flower Deva are almost always present in any work

I do. Color and sound Energy

is usually present as well. I never force a mix of modalities I allow what is

needed and trust the universe.

 

When you have a lot of tools and you allow that the highest good be served

then different tools and modes will come into play naturally. It is critical

that the Intention and purpose of the treatment is for the highest good of

the client . Over time the modalities become rather unified you know what to

do when. What must not be done is to turn the

healing session into a piece of Razzle Dazzle. I cannot lay out an absolute

formula for mixing modalities because (IMO)there is no such thing.

 

That said, Often a quartz crystal will seem appropriate at the head and foot of

the table during the treatment.

A well chosen infusion of scent and music are also pretty common positive

supports for crystal or energy work treatments.

by utilizing all methods that resonate,for we and everything is related

part of the whole and all...all truths from all races and modalities is

conducive to ...healing etc...as in the medicine wheel of all colours

coming together ....(races and knowledge)...for there is no religeon

higher then truth...ie as in example my work with the wheel/grid it

combines medicine wheel,qabala,astrolegy,sacred geometry,tesla and

reich technos?geomancy,crystals,sound healing,the occult...key of

solomon,keys of enoch,ceremonies,moon phases etc,mayan calender...and

anything else that rings true...the results of what ive been doing is

proof of ...pics?in file? ps global grid map..becker and hagen ..point

17 has been activated...just got back from arizona and biult 5

wheels..locked and loaded....in service to the whole mikael...
