Guest guest
Thank you both (Cee and Peggy) for your replies; I'm sorry it's taken me this long to respond. I've really felt a pull towards the immersion method because of a dream I had. At that time I didn't even know about elixirs. I wish there was a safe way to make an immersion elixir. I was going to use quartz, but if you feel it might not be safe, I'll try one of the other methods. Should I use distilled water for this? ~Dani~
Guest guest
Hi Dani-- I'm new here too, trying to learn. And one of the things I found attracted me was the idea of crystal elixirs and I wondered if one could take a bath with one's crystals and get benefits from them. Searched the idea on the net and sure enough--the list owner has a page about it here: http://pjentoft.com/f-56-baths.html I read through it and found out the crystals and stones that could safely join me in the tub and then sorted through what I had to pick a bathtime companion. The choice leapt out at me--a piece of tangerine quartz that I bought over the internet. The picture on the net didn't show it--taken from the wrong angle, I guess--but when I took it out of the box on receipt I had to laugh--it looks like a duck! It sits on a nice self-healed flat bottom, has a lump (don't know the technical term) on the front of that that's like feet, and it even has a little projection in just the right place and in just the right shape to be a duck's bill! So, instead of a rubber duckie, I now have a crystal duckie to share my soaks. LOL And it does seem to be more energizing and healing when he's in there. --Martha , " destinysbeckoning " <destinysbeckoning wrote: > > Thank you both (Cee and Peggy) for your replies; I'm sorry it's > taken me this long to respond. Guest guest
Hi, Martha I love the bath idea. And your tangerine duck crystal sounds perfect! I love that story; thanks for sharing it. I've taken some crystals in the shower with me, but the bath idea sounds better, especially if you have a crystal duck. Sorry about all the smilies, but that story has me smiling. I just ordered a tiny spirit quartz because it reminded me so much of a little caterpillar or something, wearing a little crystal crown...I don't know why but I think of it as *inchworm* and a little princess. Anyway she was too adorable to resist, but I haven't gotten her yet. Thank you for the site; I'm going to check it out now. ~Dani~ , " Martha " <k9lovers wrote: > > Hi Dani-- > > I'm new here too, trying to learn. Guest guest
A caterpillar wearing a crystal crown sounds adorable! Send pictures! I'll see if I can capture my duck looking ducky, too. --Martha destinysbeckoning <destinysbeckoning wrote: Hi, Martha I love the bath idea. And your tangerine duck crystal sounds perfect! Guest guest
Martha, I haven't gotten it yet, but when I do I'll try to see if I can get a clear enough picture. I'd love to see your tangerine duck! : ) ~Dani~ Relax. Mail virus scanning helps detect nasty viruses!
