reflections

This is not the only group I'm in which has suddenly become focused on

contentious issues. Normally peaceful and pleasant groups have

erupted in flame wars, trolling and messages of doom or of hysteria

etc.. On several of these groups someone has presented some technique or

belief that is completely at odds with the experiences and beliefs

of most others on those lists. There is probably some major energetic

influence or " something going On " . Sometimes astrology gives a clue but

I have not been able to get much info on current influences. I do know

that what I react to strongly tends to reflect events in my life and I

know that as the holidays approach many people become restless and

agitated in the face of demands and expectations for the season . I

know that as the year winds down it is good to reflect on the year

past and plan for changes and appreciations. I know that this year my

personal life and family needs have consumed most of the time,

attention and energy that would usually have gone to this group. The

family situation may be settling somewhat. my spouse is enjoying his

retirement and has remained pretty stable health wise though he has

pretty much taken over the computer (sigh). Nicole has very minor

nerve damage but continues to improve, her spine is stabilizing and she

probably will not need more surgery in the immediate future. She still

is having issues with attending school causing physical pain. Mara has

been focusing on learning to read since she graduated from High School

( she is Hearing impaired and dyslexic) and has had some real

breakthroughs this year.

I hope that next year I will be able to participate more actively

again and that we will be able to discuss and study more. I think

that we have been hashing and rehashing certain issues and getting

into the border area of personal attacks etc. and that for the most

part it is time to move on.

There will always be controversies in Crystal Healing and I expect

that we will have lively and friendly discussions on the group in the

future.

click through and tell me if the links are working and remind me where I

need to expand and where I need to edit.
