Hi Sharon, my daughter the Queen fanatic (13 y/o) insisted

(strenuously!) that I correct your Freddie Mercury quote - she walked in

while I was reading your post and Freddie naturally caught her eye. ;)

It's actually " Open up your mind and let me step inside rest your weary

head and let your heart decide " .

.... and then she sang it to me to 'prove' it. ;)

(she was born the year after he died... she believes his death is the

worst tragedy of her life.)

Blessings,

Namaste,

Kate

Kate, your daughter is so right....silly me!! I'm usually in such a rush and I

just didn't pay as close attention as I should have. Freddie...forgive me!!??

I'll fix it when I get home from school today.

Tell your daughter that there is no such thing as death and that he's still

floating around and spreading joy ok? I admire her taste in music!!

Blessings,

Sharon

I'll surely tell her when *she* gets home from school. ;)

Oh, intellectually she knows that, but she *is* 13... she counts his

life as a true Blessing on humanity, and not being corporeal at the same

time as he very very sad... she just thinks of what else he could have

brought to the world had he survived, yet also recognising what his

death brought to the world in the way of understanding and compassion...

but she still wishes she could have met him, spoken to him, told him how

much he affected her life.

She is one of my Joys, with an ever-expanding heart. :)

Blessings returned,

Kate

She's very grown up for 13 years old. She has a lot of compassion. By the

way, I fixed my sig line. I asked a few other people if they noticed it was

wrong and asked why they hadn't told me....they did notice but forgot. UGH!!

There are still so many Freddie fans around the world. It warms my heart

to see so many young people appreciate his music as well. He left that gift

for us all to treasure.

Blessings,

Sharon

Open up your mind and let me step inside

Rest your weary head and let your heart decide
