Guest guest
Friends, I wanted to mention that one of the number of very sad and unkind ways that they dye Howlite to mimic the colors of Turquoise is by soaking these stone spirits in buckets of Tidy Bowl - yes, the very same highly toxic cleaning product used to clean toilets. The Howlite will absorb the blue color fairly easily and, to those that use this method, the results look close enough to Turquoise to offer the Howlite as such. Needless to say, from a spiritual perspective, particularly if we understand that stones are spirits and not things, this is true abuse. Further, at an energetic level, I can't imagine the energy of Tidy Bowl is too, well, " tidy " . This is one of many reasons why I lean so heavy on my warnings to be careful where we adopt Turquoise. Aside from the risks of adopting something other than what we expect, for me it's important not to support this sort of mistreatment of stone spirits with my money. Guest guest
That is so sad and so cruel. The stuff you talk about is called 'Loo Blue' here in SA, so I guess they'd use that or something similar. This substance is quite caustic so I can only imagine how the spirits feel about this!!! Painfull, to say the least.
