Guest guest
I've been perusing the mineral sites looking for some real turquoise. There doesn't seem to be too much of the real stuff unless you wish to take out a mortgage on your house. Mostly what is being sold is either stablized or enhanced and they come at a hefty price. Now ,from my understanding, only the " real " Turquoise can be used for healing purposes. I want to know _where_ is the " real " Turquoise normally sold and how does one obtain some at a reasonable price? I figured that rough would be easier to work with. Have any of you ever worked with rough Turquoise or any other rough gemstone? I did use some Turquoise recently for healing...that was before I found out that it wasn't real, and it worked fine. I'm athinkin' here that if the " intention " was for healing then it should of worked anyway. It just depends on what your intuition says will work, I should think. I've looked for other gemstones and Turquoise isn't the _only_ one that isn't enhanced ( i.e. heat treatments, etc.) or synthetic. Quite a few of them are....and it is hard for even some of the " experts " to tell the differences without going through elaborate gyrations. Other than actually going to the mines and digging it yourself , I guess one has to hope for the best. Peace & Wisdom, BARD

I have found that often it still does happily work with people in healing and our love attention and energy can help with healing the stones themselves. Fake plastic turquoise won't be useful in healing / Howlite is often dyed and sold as Turquoise and Howlite has its own spiritual and healing missions . I have one little pebble that is clearly a dyed rock not even a good fake who is quite belligerent about anyone feeling the he is any less effective useful or valued than the turquoise though his mission is different. Actually 2 pieces of Turquoise I had that I was absolutely certain were natural both crumpled to bits . I find that I have to tune in quite carefully and heed guidance and my intuition with each and every stone especially those who are presented as Turquoise -- Peggy Jentoft http://solarraven.com Energy work Empowerments Natural Spirituality, Angels, crystal healing
