It was never her intention for people to use it to inflict guilt or ill feelings. She wrote it in love as a guidance to see if that could be an area for one to look at to see if it resonates truth for the individual. Not that it had to be that cause or reason. She also encourages everyone to look inside a mirror for get answers for oneself and to express unconditional love to the image in the mirror until one resonates with it.
