Betreff: Indigestion / Hyperalimentation/ Hyperphagia

Namaste

One of my patients who is about 53 years old, had a surgery 30 years ago. His

problem was the duodenum. In the surgery, the stomach Pylur and the valve (Wag

nerve) were removed from his body.

About 2 years ago, his gallbladder which was full of small stones was removed

from his body, too.

His main problem in the past years was headache. But at present his problem is

the severe anxiety and stress which cause the feeling of severe hunger! this

feeling (feeling of empty stomach) is such terrible the way that he can not

sleep comfortably for some hours, he has to wake up and eat s.th! this happens

every two hours within a day!!!

When he tries to eat something except that breakfast, lunch and dinner, he feels

that his throat is very heavy and feels indigestion and nausea.

It is appreciated if you let me know about the proper instruction for healing.

Regards,

Mitra M.

A Loving Atma Namaste,

MEDICAL BACKGROUND

Alternative names for excessive hunger: Hyperalimentation, Hyperphagia

Excessive eating is called " polyphagia " (or hyperphagia) and can be the symptom

of numerous conditions. The list here deals primarily with medical conditions

that affect the body's metabolism and cause an increase in the appetite and

excessive hunger for food. Certain medical conditions causing hunger are

extremely serious and any hunger symptoms need prompt professional medical

advice for correct diagnosis and treatment.

The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of Excessive

hunger. There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about

your symptoms.

Some possible causes of abnormal hunger include:

Diabetes - usually if undiagnosed or poorly controlled diabetes

Diabetic ketoacidosis

Hypoglycemia

Hypoglycemic attack

Graves Disease

Mania

Bipolar disease - overeating and excessive appetite when in the manic phase.

Intestinal worms

Tapeworms

Hypothalamic disease

Certain medications can stimulate appetite.

Brain disorders causing increased eating (hyperphagia) include:

Encephalitis

Brain injury

Third ventricle tumor

Some brain tumors

Chromophobe adenoma

Craniopharyngioma (type of Brain cancer)

Strenuous exercise

Recovery from illness

Hyperthyroidism

Hypoglycaemia

Depression

Hysteria

Bulimia

Chronic Digestive Disorders that can remain Undiagnosed:

Crohn's Disease

Ulcerative Colitis

Celiac Disease

Heartburn

GERD

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Carcinoid Syndrome

Pancreatitis

Misdiagnosis and Excessive hunger

Intestinal bacteria disorder may be a hidden cause: One of the lesser known

causes of diarrhea is an imbalance of bacterial in the gut, sometimes called

intestinal imbalance. The digestive system contains a variety of " good " bacteria

that aid digestion, and they can decline for various reasons, leading to

digestive symptoms such as diarrhea. The main treatment is to eat foods

containing probiotics, typically yoghurt cultures. See intestinal imbalance and

probiotics.

Antibiotics often causes diarrhea: The use of antibiotics are very likely to

cause some level of diarrhea in patients. The reason is that antibiotics kill

off not only " bad " bacteria, but can also kill the " good " .

Food poisoning may actually be an infectious disease: Many people who come down

with " stomach symptoms " like diarrhea assume that it's " something I ate " (i.e.

food poisoning).

Mesenteric adenitis misdiagnosed as appendicitis in children: Because

appendicitis is one of the more feared conditions for a child with abdominal

pain, it can be over-diagnosed.

Celiac disease One of the most common chronic digestive conditions is celiac

disease, a malabsorption disorder and acause of chronic digestive symptoms,

often fails to be diagnosed.

PRANIC HEALING

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment.

Teach the patient slow deep abdominal Pranic Breathing. Ask the patient to do 12

guided meditation during treatment.

3. Form the intention to remove negative thought forms, negative emotions and

negative elementals when sweeping.

4. General sweeping using EV.

chakra. Rescan. Continue sweeping until all the parts are clean and smooth

before energizing.
