Guest guest
Dear Marilette, Atma Namaste. Can you provide a protocol for Multiple System Atrophy, please. This is for a man in his 50's. Thank you for the love and service you extend. Blessings Andrea ========================================== Dear Andrea, Atma namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: Multiple system atrophy is a relentlessly progressive neurodegenerative disorder causing pyramidal, cerebellar, and autonomic dysfunction. It includes 3 disorders previously thought to be distinct: olivopontocerebellar atrophy, striatonigral degeneration, and Shy-Drager syndrome. Symptoms include hypotension, urinary retention, constipation, ataxia, rigidity, and postural instability. Diagnosis is clinical. Treatment is symptomatic, with volume expansion, compression garments, and vasoconstrictor drugs. Multiple system atrophy affects about twice as many men as women. Mean age at onset is about 53 yr; after symptoms appear, patients live about 9 to 10 yr. Etiology is unknown, but neuronal degeneration occurs in several areas of the brain; the area and amount damaged determine initial symptoms. A characteristic finding is cytoplasmic inclusion bodies containing & #945;-synuclein within oligodendroglial cells. Symptoms and Signs Initial symptoms vary but include a combination of parkinsonism unresponsive to levodopa, cerebellar abnormalities, and autonomic symptoms. Parkinsonian symptoms (predominant in striatonigral degeneration) include rigidity, bradykinesia, postural instability, and jerky postural tremor. High-pitched, quavering dysarthria is common. In contrast to Parkinson's disease, resting tremor and dyskinesia are uncommon, and symptoms respond poorly and transiently to levodopa. Symptoms of cerebellar dysfunction (predominant in olivopontocerebellar atrophy) include ataxia, dysmetria, dysdiadochokinesia (difficulty performing rapidly alternating movements), poor coordination, and abnormal eye movements. Typical symptoms of autonomic failure are orthostatic hypotension (symptomatic fall in BP when a person stands, often with syncope—see Approach to the Cardiac Patient: Orthostatic Hypotension), urinary retention or incontinence, constipation, and erectile dysfunction. Other autonomic symptoms, which may occur early or late, include decreased sweating, problems with breathing and swallowing, fecal incontinence, and decreased tearing and salivation. Sleep apnea and respiratory stridor are common. Source: " Multiple System Atrophy " , The Merck Manual Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. Teach the patient proper Pranic Breathing. 3. Play the MCKS OM cd softly in the healing room. Ask the patient to listen to the sound and simultaneously do Pranic Breathing during treatment. 3. General sweeping several times with LWG. 4. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire length of the spine and sides of the spine alternately with LWG, LWO and ordinary LWV. Do not apply LWO near or on the head area. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra alternately with LWG and LWO, 50 to 100 times. Energize the basic chakra with LWR. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the meng mein chakra. 7. Localized thorough sweeping on the bladder, the sex chakra, lower abdominal area and the navel chakra. Energize the chakras with LWR. 8. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and liver alternately with LWG and LWO. Experienced proficient advance Pranic Healers: Energize the solar plexus chakra with LWG, LWO then LWR. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back of the lungs. Energize through the back of the lungs with LWG, LWO then LWR. Point your fingers away from the patient's head when energizing with O. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize through the back heart chakra with a little of LWG then with more of ordinary LWV. 11. Localized thorough sweeping on the spleen chakra. Energize with W. Do this with caution. 12. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat chakra, secondary throat minor chakra and jaw minor chakras alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize with ordinary LWV. 13. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire head, the different sections of the brain, the crown chakra, forehead chakra, ajna chakra, and back head minor chakra alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Rescan. Continue sweeping until the energy of all sections of the brain and chakras are clean and stable before energizing. Energize thoroughly with EV. Inhibit the ajna chakra and back head minor chakra with LWB. 14. Localized thorough sweeping on the perineum minor chakra alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize with W. 15. Localized thorough sweeping on the arms and legs and their minor chakras alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize the minor chakras with LWR. 16. Stabilize and release projected energy. 17. Rescan and repeat entire treatment once a day for the first 2 to 4 weeks. Gradually reduce frequency of treatment to 3 times a week continuously. In general, there would be noticeable improvement after the first few weeks of Pranic Healing treatment but treatment has to be applied continuously for at least 6 months then for as long as necessary. 18. It is important for the patient to become a vegetarian, generate good karma through tithing, the use of the Law of Loving Kindness, Forgiveness and Mercy to receive forgiveness and mercy or healing.
