I'm particularly glad that this book has arrived, as serious chronic heart conditions are not currently a common part of clinical practice for most practitioners, and I believe they could be. This, and Blue Poppy's The Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease with Chinese Medicine offer sufficient depth in the literature for practitioners to study and get the solid background necessary to take on such patients. Eric, very well done. It's very well laid out, and I really like the literature review in each section. I also this including the chinese along with the english will be helpful if the book is adopted in doctoral programs, as it allows Chinese faculty better access. Do you know when others in this series ( I assume there will be a series) will appear? Rory
Guest guest
Further congrats to Eric for a stellar presentation at Pacific Symposium on Pathomechanisms in Gynecology. A highly professional, thorough survey of present day real time herbal practice in Taiwan, especially the practice of Feng Ye. Fascinating stuff. The liver and spleen texts have their raw translation finished but still need the editorial phase. They should both be out this coming year. The original Chinese texts have been finished and the final two are due to be translated shortly. Unlike most CM texts, this series has never been published before in Chinese. The bilingual Paradigm release is the first time the book has ever been brought to the market, in either English or Chinese. It is a recent work compiled by a well-known Chinese physician-scholar.
