Guest guest
Dear Marilette! I very much love Pranic Healing and honor and respect Master Choa Kok Sui 's work and his concept of Pranic Healing and well, last but not least , it works and this speaks for itself. I did the BPH course 5 months ago in the Phil. and definetely want to procede with my PH education and do the Advanced course etc. There is one thing though which sometimes irritates me : I am a Tibetan Bhuddhist Practitioner. This is where I have my spiritual home and my teachers. So I do my own invocations and also made the wonderful Twin Heart Meditation compatible for a bhuddhist point of view. Your organisation says " Pranic Healing is not a religion . It is scientific and based on universal truths. We respect all religions and sects. " This is wonderful and I agree. On the other hand, sometimes I feel like a minority in the midst of the realm of your organisation which seems to be sharing a spiritual belief- system which appears like a mix of Christianity, Buddhism , Katholizism, and so forth in the limited perception of my little mind. Master Choa Kok Sui is a disciple of Boddhisatva Chohan Jig Mei Ling and at the same time he uses terms like " supreme God, holy angels , the holy mother, Jesus ... " to invoke and for prayer. I don't want to criticize this or say it is wrong but I would like to understand how this works together as in Buddhism you don't believe in a " creator " or " supreme god " . You believe in the essential nature of mind,or buddha nature . Christians may call it " God " , Hindus " the Self " , the Sufis the " hidden essence " .....I am sure we all meet at the same point which is beyond of what I do right now-- conceptual thinking. Dear Marilette, I know that this is beyond the regular PH- application objective of your online group. Still I would highly appreciate it if you could enlighten me a bit , sharing your view or recommend who else I may contact. Best wishes Areti ================================ Dear Areti, Thank you for your email. It is always good when a student has questions because it means that the student has a mind that is searching to develop itself. Nothing happens by chance. If you were able to recognize the magnitude of power (behind the simplicity and straightforward style) of the teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui, you may have been a student who has been studying them for several lifetimes. The teachings of Master Choa Kok Sui (MCKS) are based on universal laws of energy. The vocabulary he employs and the references to several traditions are simply tools. They are just tools used to illustrate and bring down to understandable form the essence of the inner truths. Bring your awareness beyond the words. Spiritual truths are universal. MCKS has always said, " Words are like a finger that points to an object...to see the object, focus your attention on what the finger is pointing to; not on the finger. " When MCKS speaks of his Teacher, who happens to be identified with a religious tradition, he also tells us that this same Teacher has also been known by several other names in several other traditions during different periods of the evolution of world civilization. The teachings of MCKS, Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga, " ... are an example of the union of science and spirituality. There is a clear distinction between spirituality and religion. Religion tends to be sectarian. It tends to be based on belief....What is ordinarily called " science " is physical science. What we call " spirituality " is actually inner sciences or sciences not dealing with the physical world. The union of science and spirituality is already in progress. This can be seen in the field of quantum physics, merging with mysticism, in homeopathy, in acupuncture, feng shui, chi kung, vibrational medicine and others. " (The Existence of God Is Self-Evident, pp. 11-12) Invocations - the student may call upon any Higher Power he/she recognizes as such. The name or no name given to that Power is a personal choice. Finally, it is strongly recommended that the books, Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul and the new edition of the Spiritual Essence of Man by Master Choa Kok Sui are read in depth. They would provide more illustrations of the universality of spirituality. Pranic Healing is an entry point, a bridge to higher spiritual lessons. It is important to continue learning to be better, this is why we are incarnated. To learn it is important to have an open and discriminating mind.
