Guest guest
Namaste I recently completed the Basic Pranic Healing course and may choose to do the Advanced and Psychotherapy courses very soon in Melbourne, Australia. I have several questions concerning the entire modality that i would like to ask before further committing, and was wondering if you could be so kind as to share with me your impression. Like many people, i first had to make the discission whether or not to study the myriad other energy healing modalities or Pranic Healing. As it turned out, i did PH and was overly satisfied. It is indeed wonderful. Obviously i realise all practices are doing the same thing, but i am more concerned with the schooling or paradigm by which students learn how to manipulate energy. I have studyed much in this area but was wondering if you could shed some light on some of these queries i have. 1. Where is the energy specifically coming from when you take it in the receptive hand. ie. What frequency would you consider it to be. Is it from the air, sun, earth or source? Or rather, is it coming from the actual environment you are in (ie the room you are in when doing the healing). That said, can you take it from the Earth (after asking permission from Gaia) just by pointing the hand down. What is the command by which one should use to ask any source for energy. This leads to the next question: 2. A Reiki master i contacted in Australia insisted, on my querying, that i do Reiki instead of Pranic Healing. Obviously i did not follow his advice and have no regrets - however some things he said i am still concerned about. For purposes of clarity, i will quote him directly: " There is no need to remove negative energy, in fact this is what leads to practiitioners of pranic healing becoming drained and taking on the imbalances of the client. The Universal energy force that we (Reiki healers) channel during a healing is of such a high frequency that removing negative - imbalanced energy is not required because when this high frequency of energy comes into contacty with the low frequency negative energy, the negative energy is immediately transformed. " I have searched extensively on the internet for an answer to this but have not yet found one. However, i did see a small mention in one article that in Pranic Healing one does learn how to trasmute energies in the later courses. Is this true? This again leads to the next question: 3. I have had some contact with Sukyo Mahikari, a group you may be aware of. They teach, amongst other things, the channelling of 'True Light'. On receiving a healing, the practicioner told me that in their method, they 'reform' bad spirits - ie. they transform lower denser energies into higher frequencies. They do this by directly 'radiating the light of God'. In this instance, they would be bringing in the energy directly from the crown chakra. We learnt this briefly towards the end of the Basic course. Is this covered in the later courses? Another friend of mine who has been doing Mahikari for 20 years, commented that he thought that the 'True Light' was much finer and higher than Reiki energy. But in Reiki, isn't the attunement process about opening up the channels so that energy can come from the crown down into the hands? Thus, my question is, what frequency of energy is used in the Pranic Healing modality. We do learn to use 3-dimensional energy from the earth etc - but do the courses teach how to use all manner of energy frequencies - 3-d, 4-d, 5-d and 6-d? 4. On the 'dumping' of the negative denser energies from body ailments or chakras, what is one actually doing? If using the salt bath, the energy is being broken down just as in the visualisation of the flame, yes? Can one give it back to Earth? Some people talk of a 'transmutation chamber' in the centre of the Earth, where diseased energies such as our negative emotions, can be given and transmuted. What would you say was the direct energetic process when 'burning' or 'salting' these energies. Also, we were told to use a green flame. But what about a violet flame a la the violet flame of transmutation? What is the differance between these two and why a green flame? And can one 'give' the energy directly back to the source? Before i studyed the course i was visualizing the Source, the 'Wu Chi' in Taoism, as a black void in front of me. I would then get the negative energies and 'give' them back by hurling them into the void. Is this a good/wise/safe thing to do? 5. Is is possible to pull out positive energy from a patients chakras by mistake? Or do troubles like this all basically come down to the focus on intent. If you focus on the fact that you are taking out energies that are no longer needed by the patient, then all will be fine 6. Lastly, if one ever feels unstable, as if the bodies energies are leaking and dispersing and are scattered, would coating the body in light blue stabilize them, just as when one stabilizes the chakras with light blue. Or is this more related to ungroundedness, needing a legs and base chakra stabilization? Thankyou for your help if you can answer any of these questions with your knowledge and expertize of the Pranic Healing modality, GMCKS's teaching methods and your general understanding of this energetic reality. If not then is their someone who you recommend that i speak to? Love, light and balance, Robert McDougall ========================================== Dear Robert, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Master Choa is scheduled to visit Australia in June. You may want to find out how you can ask the Teacher of Modern Pranic Healing himself any remaining questions you may have regarding his teachings. 1. Unless the healer makes an intention to receive energy from another source, in level 1 Pranic Healing, the prana or vital energy that is received in the receiving hand is from the natural general surrounding environment. Making the intention to receive energy from the Earth may be done provided the area is physically, etherically and psychically clean and the healer is capapable of regulating the energy transferred. The earth energy is strong and dense. Long term use may cause adverse effects and/or imbalances on the healer's and patient's body if used directly for long periods of time. 2. Reiki has its own body of practices and rules which applies to its practitioners and users. As Pranic Healing students and practitioners, we only make fair and credible comments on the Pranic Healing system as we have been taught directly by Master Choa Kok Sui. In your Level 1 Pranic Healing course and book, Miracles Through Pranic healing, the importance of cleansing has been clarified and repeatedly emphasized. The causes of a healer's energy depletion were likewise explained. As to the level of frequency of energy used, anybody can say or write anything. However, with the scanning skill you have been taught in Level 1, you can verify what is true for yourself. This is another feature of Pranic Healing: the development of scanning skill. This enables the practitioner to make their own verification. Use your scanning skill to make your own conclusions. Transmutation of energy is a technique taught in the higher levels, starting with Advanced Pranic Healing but not in the manner nor purpose which you assume. 3. Modern Pranic Healing is a science and an art. Before Pranic Healing was taught to the public and the first book, The Science and Art of Pranic Healing (later re titled :Miracles Through Pranic Healing) was published, energy healing was already being taught and practiced by many different teachers in different countries but healing was mostly an art form. The book, The Origin of Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga by Master Choa Kok Sui gives a longer explanation. Master Choa' sifted through and removed superstition and rituals. He validated eachs step through years of study, research, experiments and practice. What he finally presented us with is an effective simple step by step science. A technology that could be transferred easily. Because it is also an art, the skill of Pranic Healing is enhanced and developend through constant proper practice, it is ot just a mental process. There are several levels in Pranic Healing. In each level, more applications and energy dimensions are explained in detail and their practical uses practiced. 4. Actually, energy cannot be created nor destroyed, just transformed. When diseased energy is directed to the disposal unit, whether it is a basin with water and salt, visualized flames, essential oils, etc. there is an etheric energy transmutation that the healer is instigating. Each color has a different specific effect. These are taught in detail and demonstrated in Advanced Pranic Healing or Level 2. Green is used in Level 1 because it is generally safer and more user friendly. Using the " dark void " as your disposal unit could work effectively provided that you are capable of controlling the dark void or " pure matter " . Please read the Existence of God is Self-Evident by Master Choa Kok Sui for further information regarding the " Void " from the energy point of view. 5. Intention is important. Accidents can still happen. This is the reason for the invocation before, during and after treatment: part of the invocation asks for proptection not only for the healer but also for the patient's protection to a certain degree from adverse reactions caused by unintentional mistakes of the healer. 6. If there is a feeling weakness or instability, it may be adviseable to raise and balance the energy level by: a.) With the tip of the tongue against the upper palate, -do some physical exercises such as jogging in place or cycling for 15 - 30 minutes, -the semi squats for 100 to 500 times -and breathing exercises such as the pranic breathing 6-3-6-3 for 5 minutes per session. b.) Do blessing and rooting properly such as done in the Meditation on Twin Hearts for 5 to 15 minutes contineously. c.) Eat proper amounts of nutritionally balanced food wihich includes plenty of fresh vegetables and fresh fruits and take proper amounts of fresh water daily. Love, Marilette 1. Pranic Healing is not intended to replace orthodox medicine, but rather to complement it. If symptoms persist or if the ailment is severe, please consult immediately a medical doctor and a Certified Pranic Healer. 2. Pranic Healers who are are not medical doctors should not prescribe nor interfere with prescribed medications and/or medical treatments. ~ Master Choa Kok Sui Miracles do not happen in contradiction to nature, but only to that which is known to us in nature. ~ St. Augustine Reference material for Pranic Healing protocols are the following books written by Master Choa Kok Sui: Miracles Through Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, Pranic Psychotherapy, Pranic Crystal Healing.
