==================================================

Dear Hari,

Atma namaste.

Thank you for your email.

Medical Background:

Amoebiasis is infection caused by the single celled

organism Entamoeba histolytica. This organism has 2

forms: the fragile adult amoeba and a hardy cyst form.

The infection can involve either the gut, causing

amoebic dysentery, or cause abscesses in other parts

of the body, usually the liver.

Mode of Transmission

Amoebiasis is transmitted via food or water

contaminated by faeces containing amoebic cysts. One

common source of infection is lettuce grown in fields

fertilised using 'night soil' (human faeces) or washed

in contaminated water.

Transmission can also occur sexually by oro-anal

contact. Individuals with amoebic dysentery are less

infectious than might be expected since they pass few

cysts; most transmission occurs from asymptomatic

individuals who produce large numbers of cysts.

Cysts can survive for weeks or months in a moist

environment outside the body.

Regions affected

Amoebiasis occurs world-wide, but is particularly

associated with areas of poor sanitation and hygiene

in the tropics. Outbreaks can occur in households and

institutions.

Prevention

-Individuals can avoid becoming infected with

amoebiasis by avoiding uncooked vegetables, salads and

unboiled water while travelling in the tropics.

-Hygiene, including hand washing is important.

-Sexual practices that promote the spread of amoebae

should be avoided.

-Individuals known to be carrying the infection and

producing cysts should be treated with antibiotics.

-At a community level, it is important to provide

adequate sanitation facilities and to protect public

water supplies by filtration or boiling water for more

than a minute. Chlorination of public water supplies

is not always effective.

Immunisation - None available.

Symptoms/Signs

Many infections are asymptomatic but may result in

-chronic carriage of the organism, with great

potential for transmission.

-Amoebic dysentery is an illness characterised by

diarrhoea with blood and mucus, abdominal pain and

fever. The incubation period may be as long as several

months or more, but is usually 2-4 weeks.

-Once bowel symptoms appear they may rapidly become

more severe with bowel perforation or major bleeding;

alternatively, the diarrhoea may come and go over

prolonged periods.

-Amoebic abscesses occur after bowel infection (which

may be asymptomatic or mild), following spread of the

organism in the blood stream. They usually occur in

the liver, but may rarely be found in the lungs,

spleen or brain. Liver abscesses present typically

with fever, liver enlargement and mild pain and

tenderness over the site of the abscess.

Complications

Untreated acute amoebic dysentery can progress rapidly

to involve large areas of the large intestine with the

risk of bowel perforation and severe haemorrhage. If

the illness is more chronic, continuing inflammation

in the bowel may give rise to structural changes such

as bowel narrowing or inflammatory masses, both of

which may be mistaken for bowel cancer. Amoebic liver

abscesses can rupture into the abdomen, or through the

diaphragm into the chest, if large or if there is

trauma, causing peritonitis or lung inflammation.

Pranic Healing:

Source - Advanced Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok

Sui.

If the patient is a young child or is very weak,

treatment may be done using W all throughout.

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after

treatment.

2. General sweeping twice.

3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

solar plexus chakra with LG.

Localized thorough sweeping on the stomach, the front,

sides and back of the liver alternately with LWG and

LWO.

4. Gradually energize the solar plexus chakra with

LG then with LO. Visualize the energy going inside

the liver and inside the stomach.

Repeat step 3.

If there has been some bleeding, it is better not to

energize the stomach with G, cleansing is more

important than energizing.

Sweeping and energizing are done several times,

alternately. Repeat steps 3 and 4 twice ending with

energizing.

5. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel chakra

and the small and large intestines alternately with

LWG and LWO. Gradually energize the navel chakra and

the intestines with LG then LO.

If there is bleeding, do not energize with G. Thorough

sweeping is more important than energizing.

Repeat localized thorough sweeping alternately with

LWG and LWO.

Apply step 5 twice ending with energizing.

6. Localized thorough sweeping on the physical heart,

and on the front and back heart. Energize through the

back heart with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV.

7. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

lungs. Energize through the back of the lungs with

LWG, then with LWO, then LWR.

Point your fingers away from the patient's head when

energizing with O.

8. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

spleen chakra.

9. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra.

Energize with LWR.

If there is fever, do not energize the basic chakra,

just apply thorough localized sweeping on it.

10. Localized thorough sweeping on the arms and legs

and their minor chakras, the hand and sole chakras.

Energize the minor chakras with LWV.

11. Localized thorough sweeping on the kidneys.

Energize them with W. If there is radical reaction

or pain in certain part(s) of the body, immediately

apply localized thorough sweeping on the area(s)

until there is complete relief.

12. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

13. Repeat treatment 3 times per week.

Love,

Marilette
