Dear Banumathi,

Namaste.

Thank you for your email.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: FIBROMYALGIA

" The fibromyalgia syndromes (myofascial pain

syndromes, fibromyositis) are a group of disorders

characterized by achy pain and stiffness in soft

tissues, including muscles, tendons (which attach

muscles to bones), and ligaments (which attach bones

to each other).

The pain and stiffness (fibromyalgia) may occur

throughout the body or may be restricted to certain

locations, as in the myofascial pain syndromes.

Fibromyalgia throughout the body is more common in

women than men. Men are more likely to develop

myofascial pain or fibromyalgia in a particular area,

such as a shoulder, from an occupational or

recreationalmuscle strain. Fibromyalgia isn't

dangerous or life threatening, but persistent symptoms

can be very disruptive.

Fibromyalgia may be triggered by physical or mental

stress, inadequate sleep, an injury, exposure to

dampness or cold, certain infections, and occasionally

rheumatoid arthritis or a related disorder. Stiffness

and pain usually develop gradually. The symptoms are

usually aches, or the pain may be more sudden and

sharp. The pain usually worsens with fatigue,

straining or overuse. Specific areas may be tender

when pressure is applied. Muscle tightness and spasms

may occur. Although any fibrous tissue or muscle may

be affected, those of the neck, shoulders, chest, and

rib cage, lower back, and thighs are especially likely

to be painful. In the primary fibromyalgia syndrome,

pain may occur throughout the body and is accompanied

by more general symptoms, such as nonrestorative

sleep, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and irritable

bowel movement. "

PRANIC HEALING:

Source: Advanced Pranic Healing and Pranic

Psychotherapy by Master Choa Kok Sui.

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment.

Instruct the patient how to do proper pranic breathing

(6-3-6-3). Ask patient to do 12 cycles before start

of treatment. Continue pranic breathing during pranic

healing session.

2. General sweeping using LWG several times.

3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

solar plexus chakra and on the liver. Energize the

solar plexus with with LWG, LWB, then with ordinary

LWV. This is important for relieving pain.

Inhibit the over activated solar plexus chakra with

LWB.

4. Localized thorough sweeping the affected leg or

arm, their minor chakras, and on the affected joints

alternately with LWG and LWO.

If an affected part is on the head or near the heart,

do not use O; apply localized thorough sweeping

alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV simulataneously

visualize the heart chakra becoming brighter and

bigger.

4. Energize the affected area(s) with LWG, LWB, then

with ordinary LWV.

5. Energize the minor chakras on the affected arm or

leg with W or LWR.

6. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic and navel

chakras alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize with

LWR.

7. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

spleen chakra. Energize with W. Do not energize the

spleen if patient has hypertension.

8. Localized thorough sweeping the front and back

heart chakra. Energize the back heart chakra with LWG,

then with more of ordinary LWV.

9. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat, ajna,

forehead, crown and back head chakras. Energize them

with LWG, then with more of ordinary LWV.

10. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

11. Repeat treatment 3 times per week for the next 2

to 3 months. Apply pranic psychotherapy 2 to 3 times

per week.

12. Introduce the patient to the daily regular proper

practice of the Meditation on Twin Hearts with both

her feet inside a basin with water and salt. Thsi

must be done especially during or after Pranic Healing

sessions.

13. Regular bath in water with salt especially before
