1. When treating a young child, permission from a

parent or or guardian is sufficient.

 

2. When practicing healing, a connection or

interchange of energy between healer and patient

occurs. It is not advisable to make this connection a

bond lasting longer than the treatment itself. This

is why the pranic healing protocols have a step called

" release " or " cut " the energy connection between

patient and healer. The explanation for the neccesity

for cutting the energy link between healer and patient

was explained during your training.

 

3. When using distant pranic healing techniques, it

is not necessary to be physically present nor see the

actual face of the patient to apply pranic healing.

Simply follow the distant healing instructions taught

in Level 1 Pranic Healing.

 

4. Treatment for Addison's Disease

 

Medical Background:

 

Addison's disease is a disorder that results in your

body producing insufficient amounts of certain

important hormones.

 

This disorder affects your adrenal glands, which are

located just above each of your two kidneys. The

adrenal glands are part of your endocrine system, and

they produce hormones that give instructions to

virtually every organ and tissue in your body.

 

In Addison's disease, the adrenal glands produce too

little cortisol, which is one of the hormones in a

group called the glucocorticoids. Sometimes, Addison's

disease also involves insufficient production of

aldosterone, one of the hormones called the

mineralocorticoids. Addison's disease can be

life-threatening.

 

The disorder, also called adrenal insufficiency or

hypocortisolism, can occur at any age, including

infancy, and is equally likely among males and

females. It's rare, affecting only about one in

100,000 people. Treatment involves taking hormones to

replace the insufficient amount being made by the

adrenal glands.

 

Your adrenal glands are composed of two sections. The

interior (medulla) produces adrenaline-like hormones.

The outer layer (cortex) produces a group of hormones

called corticosteroids, which include glucocorticoids,

mineralocorticoids and male sex hormones (androgens).

 

Some of the hormones the cortex produces are essential

for life — the glucocorticoids and the

mineralocorticoids.

 

-Glucocorticoids. These hormones influence your body's

ability to convert food fuels into energy, play a role

in your immune system's inflammatory response, and

help your body respond to stress.

-Mineralocorticoids. These hormones maintain your

body's balance of sodium and potassium and water to

keep your blood pressure normal.

 

 

Causes

Primary adrenal insufficiency

Addison's disease occurs when the cortex is damaged

and doesn't produce its hormones in adequate

quantities. Doctors refer to the condition involving

damage to the adrenal glands as primary adrenal

insufficiency.

 

The failure of your adrenal glands to produce

adrenocortical hormones is most commonly the result of

the body attacking itself (autoimmune disease). For

unknown reasons, your immune system views the adrenal

cortex as foreign, something to attack and destroy.

 

Other causes of adrenal gland failure may include:

Tuberculosis, other infections of the adrenal glands,

spread of cancer to the adrenal glands, bleeding into

the adrenal glands

 

Secondary adrenal insufficiency:

Adrenal insufficiency can also occur if your pituitary

gland is diseased. The pituitary gland makes a hormone

called adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which

stimulates the adrenal cortex to produce its hormones.

Inadequate production of ACTH can lead to insufficient

production of hormones normally produced by your

adrenal glands, even though your adrenal glands aren't

damaged. Doctors call this condition secondary adrenal

insufficiency.

 

Another more common possible cause of secondary

adrenal insufficiency occurs when people who take

corticosteroids for treatment of chronic conditions,

such as asthma or arthritis, abruptly stop taking the

corticosteroids.

 

Addisonian crisis

If you have untreated Addison's disease, an addisonian

crisis may be provoked by physical stress, such as an

injury, infection or illness.

 

Signs and symptoms of Addison's disease usually

develop slowly, often over several months, and may

include:

-muscle weakness and fatigue, weight loss and

decreased appetite, darkening of your skin

(hyperpigmentation, low blood pressure, even fainting,

salt craving, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia, nausea,

diarrhea or vomiting, irritability, depression

 

Sometimes, however, the signs and symptoms of

Addison's disease may appear suddenly. In acute

adrenal failure (addisonian crisis), the signs and

symptoms may include: pain in your lower back, abdomen

or legs, severe vomiting and diarrhea, leading to

dehydration, low blood pressure, loss of consciousness

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after

treatment.

 

Since the patient is a baby, the pranic energy

projected must be considerably softened and the manner

projection made very gentle. White is the generally

used prana for treating infants. However, color prana

may be also used if the healer is prficiient enough to

control the projected color prana to be be very, very

light, almost white.

 

2. Touch your heart with the pads of the fingers of

your passive hand. Smile and project loving kindness

towards the patient for several minutes.

 

Maintain this attitude and posture throughout the

treatment.

 

3. Gentle general sweeping.

 

4. Localized thorough sweeping on the kidneys,

adrenal glands, and the meng mein chakra.

 

Gently energize the meng mein chakra with LWG then

LWR, simultaneously will the chakra to become bigger,

about 1/2 to 2/3 the average size of the other major

chakras. Rescan.

 

5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

lungs. Gently energize through the back of the lungs

with LWG then LWO then LWR. Point your fingers away

from the patient's head when energizing with O.

 

6. Localized thorough sweeping on the ajna chakra.

Gently energize the ajna with LWG then with more of

ordinary LWV.

 

7. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

heart chakra. Gently energize through the back heart

with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV.

 

8. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel chakra

and basic chakra. Gently energize with LWR.

 

9. Create chakral shields on the solar plexus chakra,

ajna chakra and back heart chakra. Create an auric

shield.

 

10. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

 

11. Rescan every 3 hours to check if the energy has

ramained stable, for the first few days. Repeat

treatment if the energy has become imbalanced.

 

When the patient's condition has substantially

improved, decrease the frequency of treatment to 3

times per week.

 

Encourage the parents to practice the Meditation on

Twin Hearts regularly to assist in facilitating

healing.
