Marilette, I don't see a protocol for cirrhosis of the

liver listed in GMCKS's Advanced Pranic Healing book.

Would you be so kind as to send me a protocol that

would be appropriate for the last stages where the

liver, kidneys, and gall bladder are failing to

function?

Thank you once again.

Namaste,

Barbette

Dear Barbette,

Namaste.

Thank you for your email.

Medical Background:

Cirrhosis of the liver is a chronic, diffuse (widely

spread throughout the organ), degenerative disease in

which the parenchyma (the functional organ tissue)

deteriorates; the lobules are infiltrated with fat and

structurally altered; dense perilobular connective

tissue forms; and often areas of regeneration develop.

The surviving cells multiply in an attempt to

regenerate and form " islands " of living cells that are

separated by scar tissue. These islands of living

cells have a reduced blood supply, resulting in

impaired liver function. As the cirrhotic process

continues, blood flow through the liver becomes

blocked; portal hypertension may occur (high blood

pressure in the veins connecting the liver with the

intestines and spleen); glucose and vitamin absorption

decrease; the manufacturing of hormones and stomach

and bowel function are affected; and noticeable facial

veins may appear.

Approximately one-third of cirrhosis cases are

" compensated, " meaning there are no clinical symptoms.

Compensated cases are usually discovered during

routine tests for other problems or during surgery or

autopsy. Cirrhosis is irreversible. Unless the

underlying cause of cirrhosis is removed and the

person takes measures to treat the condition, the

liver will continue to incur damage, eventually

leading to liver failure, ammonia toxicity,

gastrointestinal hemorrhage, kidney failure, hepatic

coma, and death.

Cirrhosis can be caused by many things, some known and

others unknown:

-Alcohol: Using alcohol in excess is the most common

cause of cirrhosis in the United States.

-Chronic Viral Hepatitis: Type B and Type C hepatitis,

and perhaps other viruses, can infect and damage the

liver over a prolonged time and eventually cause

cirrhosis.

-Chronic Bile Duct Blockage: This condition can occur

at birth (biliary atresia) or develop later in life

(primary biliary cirrhosis). The cause of the latter

remains unknown. When the bile ducts outside the liver

become narrowed and blocked, the condition is called

primary sclerosing cholangitis. This condition is

often associated with chronic ulceration of the colon

(colitis).

-Abnormal Storage of Copper (Wilson's Disease) or Iron

(Hemochromatosis): These metals are present in all

body cells. When abnormal amounts of them accumulate

in the liver, scarring and cirrhosis may develop.

-Drugs and Toxins: Prolonged exposure to certain

chemicals or drugs can scar the liver.

-Autoimmune Hepatitis: This chronic inflammation

occurs when the body's protective antibodies fail to

recognize the liver as its own tissue. The antibodies

injure the liver cells as though they were a foreign

protein or bacteria.

-Cystic Fibrosis and Alpha l-antitrypsin Deficiency:

These disorders are inherited.

Signs and Symptoms: Cirrhosis takes years to develop.

During this time, there are usually no symptoms,

although fatigue, weakness and decreased appetite may

occur and worsen with time. When cirrhosis is fully

developed, a number of signs may be present:

-Fluid retention in the legs and abdomen: The liver

produces a protein, called albumin, that holds fluid

in blood vessels. When the blood level of albumen

falls, fluid seeps out of the tissues into the legs

and abdomen, causing edema (fluid accumulation) and

swelling.

-Jaundice:The liver produces bile that normally flows

into the intestine. With advanced cirrhosis, bile can

back up into the blood, causing the skin and eyes to

turn yellow and the urine to darken.

-Intense Itching:Certain types of cirrhosis, such as

chronic bile duct blockage, can produce troublesome

itching.

-Gallstones: Cirrhosis causes the abnormal metabolism

of bile pigment. Because of this, gallstones develop

twice as often in cirrhosis patients as in those

without the disorder.

-Coagulation Defects: The liver makes certain proteins

that help clot blood. When these proteins are

deficient, excessive or prolonged bleeding happens.

-Mental Function Change: The liver processes toxins

from the intestine. When these substances escape into

the bloodstream, as occurs in severe cases of

cirrhosis, a variety of changes in mental function can

develop.

-Esophageal Vein Bleeding: In advanced cirrhosis,

intestinal blood bypasses the liver and flows up and

around the esophagus (the food tube) to the heart. The

veins in the esophagus dilate (widen) and may rupture,

causing slow or massive intestinal bleeding.

Perhaps 90 percent of cirrhosis is caused by excessive

alcohol consumption or hepatitis viruses.

Pranic Healing:

Source- Advanced Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after

treatment.

2. General sweeping 2-3 times.

3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

solar plexus chakra, on the liver and on the gall

bladder alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV.

Note: " thorough sweeping " refers to the Divide the

Chakra into 6 - parts Technique given in the Pranic

Crystal Healing book by GMCKS.

4. Energize the liver then the gall bladder with LWB

for localizing effect.

5. Energize the liver then the gall bladder with LWG,

LWO then LWR.

6. Localized sweeping on the front and back solar

plexus chakra. Energize the solar plexus with LWG

then with more of ordinary LWV.

7. Localized thorough sweeping on the meng mein

chakra and on the entire spine.

8. Localized thorough sweeping on the kidneys

alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize the kidneys

with LWG, LWO then LWR. Apply more localized sweeping

on the kidneys.

If the patient experiences slight pain on the back of

the head, apply localized thorough sweeping also on

the meng mein chakra and on the entire spine until the

pain is relieved. If necessary, inhibit the meng mein

chakra with LB to about 1/2 the diameter of the other

major chakras.

6. Localized thorough cleansing on the front, sides

and back of the lungs. Energize directly through the

back of the lungs using LWG then LWO. When energizing

with O, point your fingers away from the patient's

head.

7. After a few minutes. Repeat step 6.

8. If the patient is depleted, energize the lungs with

LWR for strengthening effects.

9. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel and basic

chakras,

Energize them with LWR.

10. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

heart chakras. Energize through the back heart using

LWG and more of orindary LWV.

11. Localized sweeping on the front and back spleen

chakra using LWG. Energize using LWG and ordinary LWV.

This has to be done with caution.

12. If patient experiences any radical reaction,

immediately apply localized sweeping until there is

complete relief.

13. Localized thorough sweeping on the crown chakra,

forehead chakra, ajna chakra, throat chakra and back

head minor chakra. Energize them with LWG then more of

LWV.

14. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

15. Repeat treatment 2 to 3 times per week.

Recommend for patient:

1. Regular proper practice of the Meditation on Twin

Hearts, including the physical exercises before and

after the meditation. This will hasten the

assimilation of healing energy and promote the sense

of well being.

2. If able, regular physical exercise, 30-60 minutes

per

session. Walking is the most practical form of low

impact exercise. Gentle physiotherapy may be done

instead if th patient is bedridden

3. Do 10 cycles of proper abdominal pranic breathing

6-3-6-3) during the day to strengthen the energy body

and assist in coping with stress.

4. Avoid stress, negative thoughts, negative emotions,

negative activities and negative

enviroment.

Love,

Marilette
