Dear Namita and Girish,

Namaste.

Thank you for your email.

Medical Background:

Demyelination is the term used for a loss of myelin, a

substance in the white matter that insulates nerve

endings. Myelin helps the nerves receive and interpret

messages from the brain at maximum speed. When nerve

endings lose this substance they can not function

properly, leading to patches of scarring, or

‘sclerosis’, occurring where nerve endings have lost

myelin. It is these areas of scarring that give

multiple sclerosis its name.

Demyelinization is seen in a number of diseases,

particularly multiple sclerosis. Demyelination is the

root cause of the symptoms that people with MS

experience. When it occurs the speed at which messages

pass along the nerves is slower than normal. Even when

the patches of scarring caused by demyelination have

healed and re-myelination has occurred, the response

time of the nerve endings tends to remain slower.

Myelin is the fatty covering that surrounds axons in

the spinal cord and brain. Myelin is produced by

special " glial cells " in the central nervous system

called oligodendrocytes. Oligodendrocytes and axons

have a many to many relationship - that is one

oligodendrocyte produces myelin for several axons and

one axon has several oligodendrocytes producing its

myelin. It is this protective coating that permits

electrical impulses to be conducted, much like the

insulation surrounding an electrical cord. Myelin can

be damaged or lost either through traumatic injury

(such as a spinal cord injury) or by disease (such as

multiple sclerosis). When myelin is destroyed or

damaged, the ability of the nerves to conduct

electrical impulses to and from the brain is

disrupted, much like a wire whose insulation has been

stripped. Demyelinated axons lose the ability to

conduct impulses and this can eventually lead to the

degeneration of nerve fibers.

The cause and precise mechanism of demyelination is

not clearly understood but there is good evidence that

the body's own immune system is at least partially

responsible. Acquired immune system cells called

T-cells are known to be present at the site of

lesions. Other immune system cells called macrophages

(and possibly mast cells as well) also contribute to

the damage.

In MS, it is not just the myelin that is destroyed but

also these oligodendrocytes and occasionally even the

axons themselves. Axons use an electrochemical

mechanism to transmit nerve impulses - the action

potential. This requires sodium and potassium ions to

pass through a semi-permeable membrane around the

nerve. It is believed that the myelin not only

insulates and encases this electrochemical process but

also actively assists it. When axons become

demyelinated, they transmit the nerve impulses 10

times slower than normal myelinated ones.

The cells that make myelin, called “oligodendrocytes”

have a strictly limited capacity to repair areas of

damage in the adult nervous system.

Pranic Healing:

This protocol is done preferably by a proficient

advanced pranic healer. Application must be thorough.

Source - Advanced Pranic Healing, Crystal Pranic

healing and Pranic Psychotherapy by Master Choa Kok

Sui.

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment.

2. Teach the patient proper pranic breathing: 6-3-6-3.

Instruct patient to do pranoc breathing: 12 cycles

before start of treatment and then to continue pranic

breathing during treatment.

Use a blessed healing crystal.

3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front, sides and

back of the lungs. Energize through the back of the

lungs with LWG, LWO then LWR. Stabilize by painting

the outside of the lungs with LWB.

If the patient experiences radical reaction in the

form of chest pain, immediately apply localized

thorough sweeping on the front and back heart until

the patient is completely relieved. In the future it

is important to make sure the projected color prana is

of a lighter shade if the patient experienced radical

reaction.

4. Localized thorough sweeping on the front solar

plexus chakra.

Energize the front solar with LB - 1, LWG -3, LWO -3.

5. Repeat step 4 for the back solar plexus chakra.

6. Let the patient rest for about 3 minutes.

7. After 3 minutes, rescan the upper and lower

chakras.

8. General sweeping 3 to 4 times.

9. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel chakra

using LWG. Energize with LWG - 3, LWR - 8. This

step is important.

10. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic, sex,

and perineum minor chakras alternately with LWG and

LWO. Energize each one of them with LWR - 8.

11. Localized thorough sweeping on the meng mein

chakra using G.

Energize with W - 5. (For older people, just energize

the meng mein chakra with W - 2).

Rescan the meng mein chakra, if it is overactivated,

remove the excess energy until the chakra becomes

normal.

Carefully energize older persons who are over 55 years

old since overenergizing their meng mein chakra may

cause some problems.

12. Localized thorough sweeping on the spleen chakra

alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize with

oridnary LWV - 3 to 5.

Rescan the meng mein chakra. If the meng mein chakra

has become overactivated, immmediately apply localized

sweeping on the spleen and the meng mein chakras.

13. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

heart chakra. Energize through the back heart with

LWG - 3, ordinary LWV - 6.

14. Localized thorough sweeping on the right and left

sides of the brain slightly above the ears, and the

jaw minor chakras alternately with LWG and ordinary

LWV.

15. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat chakra,

ajna chakra, forehead chakra, crown chakra, and back

head minor chakra alternately with with LWG and

ordinary LWV. Energize each one of the chakras with

LWG - 3, ordinary LWV - 4, LEV -1.

The LEV may be increased gradually to 2 after several

weeks of regular treatment.

16. Appy distributive sweeping up and down on the

back : crown to the base of the spine - 10 times.

17. Rescan the major chakras.

If the sex and basic chakras are partially depeleted,

energize them with LWR.

18. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back

solar plexus chakra. Energize the front and back

solar plexus with W - 7.

19. Localized thorough sweeping on the arms and legs

alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize the arms and

legs through their minor chakras: armpit, elbow, hand,

hip, knee and sole chakras with LWG - 2, LWO - 2,

LWR - 5.

Numbness on any part of the body may be reduced

substantially by cleansing the part with LWG and LWO

and energizing with LWG, LWO then LWR.

20. Repeat treatment 3 times per week then gradually

reduce it to 2 times per week. Continue treatment for

3 to 6 months. For severe cases, the treatment could

take 6 months or longer. In general, the patient will

show remarkable, if not miraculous, improvement.

21. Apply pranic psychotherapy 2 to 3 times per week.

22. Encourage the patient to practice the emditation

on Twin Hearts regularly with both feet in a basin

with water and salt, especially after each pranic

healing treatment. This facilitates the proper

assimilation of healing energy.

Love,

Marilette
