Guest guest
Dear Marilette, Namaste! A patient (a young girl who is 9 years old) has been suffering from a case of Parietal Neurocysticercosis for over a year now. A recently conducted MR scan reveals a small ring-enhancing lesion in the right partietal lobe measuring 9 x 8 mms. Moreover some of the other symptoms/characteristics being witnessed are: 1.Convulsions 2. Chronic Fatigue 3. Weak Memory and Low Concentration 4. Extreme/Uncontrollable Anger Given that the protocol for the same was not available, we have been cleansing and energizing the brain, all major chakras and organs with LWG and white. About 15 healings have been administered, and have got great results so far. The patient is about 50% better (finds it easier to concentrate at school, does not get fatigued easily anymore and is more cheerful). However am not sure what should be done with respect to disintegrating the small ring enhancing lesion that she has in her brain. Not sure if there has been any improvement with respect to the same. Aftre One and half months again she had a mild convulsion. Though it was not as serious as it used to happen. Am not being able to locate a protocol for this condition. Request you to suggest an appropriate protocol for the same. Thanks in advance. Kumudini ==================================================== Dear Kumudini, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: Neurocysticercosis results when the ingested eggs of the pork tapeworm, Taenia solium, hatch into larval forms that penetrate the gut wall, disseminate hematogenously, and then encyst in the brain. The subsequent symptoms and associated morbidity are variable. The larvae of T solium (Cysticercus cellulosae) cause neurocysticercosis. This pork tapeworm can vary in size but is notable for a scolex (head) with approximately 25 hooklets, 4 suckers, and a body with 700-1000 proglottids. The ova of the tapeworm are spread via the fecal-oral route and are approximately 40 microns in diameter with a radially striated shell. The intermediate host is the pig, which harbors the larvae after eating ova, while the definitive host is the human being. If pig products infected with larvae are ingested, a tapeworm infection in the intestines ensues; however, if ova are ingested, neurocysticercosis may occur in this normally intermediate host. The ingested ova develop into larvae (cysticerci) and lodge in soft tissues, especially skin, muscle, and brain. Cysticerci are fluid-filled oval cysts, approximately 1-2 cm in diameter, with an internal scolex. The eggs are found in human feces because humans are the only definitive hosts. Greatest risk to infection occurs in regions where plants in gardens or farms are fertilized with human feces and humans are exposed to contaminated soil. In the central nervous system, T solium is deposited in the cerebral parenchyma, meninges, spinal cord, and eyes. Unless large numbers of cysts are present, the body's immune system does not act to destroy the organism, and cysts can live for many years undetected. A live cyst can go undetected for as long as 5 years before dying or causing symptoms in the host. Neurologic symptoms arise when the encysted worm dies and the human mounts an associated inflammatory response. If the cyst lodges in the ventricular system (especially the fourth ventricle), hydrocephalus can occur. Hydrocephalous, cortical atrophy, cerebral abscess, scattered multiple parenchymal lesions with edema & uncontrolled epilepsy. Neuropsychiatric Manifestation (1) Cerebral dysfunction (a) Generalized Seizure mainly of solitary Parenchymal lesions involving Parietal & Frontal, Ventricular regions associated with increase intracranial pressure, cerebral edema, obstructive hydrocephalous & abscess. (b) Mental deterioration were detected with dementing features with behavioral abnormalities i.e.violent behavior & visual disturbances. (2) Symptoms Related Behavior- violent & automatic behavior were the common presentation, mainly the lesions were in parietal regions associated with uncontrolled seizure. (3) Somatic Symptoms analysis showed that headache was predominant, lethargy and excessive sleep. (4) Reactive symptoms- depression, anxiety, manic depression . Neurological Symptoms analysis revealed that some patients had visual disturbances, diplopia, and visual hallucinatory behavior and monoplegia i.e. facial palsy, sensory and motor palsy, and aphasia . Worldwide, cysticercosis is the most common parasitic disease affecting the central nervous system mostly in developing countries. In developed countries, neurocysticercosis is more common among immigrants from endemic areas or children in contact with these immigrants where neurocysticercosis may be an incidental finding, a contributing cause of death, or the underlying cause of death. Localized very thorough sweeping on both eyes and on the front, back, sides and center of the brain alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize the different parts of the brain with LWG, LWB then ordinary LWV. 4. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire spine from the base of the head to the end of the tailbone alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and the different sections of the liver alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize the solar plexus chakra with a little LWB then with LWG then with LWO. For more experienced advanced pranic healers, energize the solar plexus chakra with LWG then LWO. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the front, sides, back of the lungs. Energize the lungs directly through the back of the lungs with LWG, LWO then ordinary LWV. Point your fingers away from the patient's head when energizing with O. 7. Localized thorough sweeping on the spleen and kidneys. Energize them with white. This has to bwe done with caution. If the patient experiences radical reaction, immediately apply localized sweeping until there is complete relief. 8. Localized very thorough sweeping on the navel chakra, the abdominal area and the small and large intestines alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize the navel chakra with LWG, LWB, and then with ordinary LWV. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra. Energize with white or LWR. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on both arms and legs with emphasis on their minor chakras alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize the minor chakras with ordinary LWV. 11. Localized thorough sweeping on the throat chakra. Energize the throat chakra with LWG, LWB and then with ordinary LWV. 12. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize the back heart chakra with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV. 13. Localized thorough sweeping on the crown chakra, forehead chakra, ajna chakra and back head chakras. Energize them with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV. 14. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. 15. Repeat treatment once per day for the next three weeks or until the laboratory tests show negative of parasites. 16. Include counselling for proper personal hygene practices, healthy diet and healthy eating habits for the patient and family.
