Guest guest
Dear Maria Elena, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: In general, tardive dyskenesia (TD) refers to a wide variety of involuntary, repetitive, persistent, stereotyped movements caused by the use of drugs that block dopamine receptors (dopamine-receptor antagonists [DRA]).1-3 Involuntary movements other than dyskinesias, such as dystonia, myoclonus, tics, and tremor, as well as akathisia, may be manifestations of TD. When used in the classic sense, TD refers to an iatrogenic disorder produced by the long-term use of drugs to treat schizophrenia that act by blocking dopamine receptors. Drugs other than those used to treat psychiatric illnesses can block the dopamine receptors, and their use has also been found to be linked to TD. These include anticholinergic drugs and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), but whether other antidepressants such as monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclics cause TD is not clear. Likewise, antihistamines and decongestants; stimulants6; and some drugs used to treat gastrointestinal disorders, seizure disorders, anxiety, and malaria have been suggested to increase the risk of TD, but the evidence for these drugs is relatively weak. Several populations have been suggested to have an increased risk for developing TD, but further epidemiologic studies are needed to substantiate these observations. Dyskenesia is from the Greek words, dys and kinEsis, meaning difficulty of movement. Tardive comes from the French word (tardif) for tardy or late, meaning that the dyskinesias appear late in the course of therapy with a DRA and not as an immediate response to the use of the drug. Symptoms: TD is characterized by well-coordinated continual movements of the mouth, tongue, jaw, and cheeks (orobuccolingual dyskinesias). Jaw movements may be lateral or may resemble chewing motions. The tongue movements may be writhing or twisting (choreoathetoid). If trunk movements are present, they are typically in the form of pelvic thrusting; extremity movements are primarily choreoathetotic or flicking. The involuntary abnormal repetitive movements of TD may also include lip smacking, cheek puffing, tongue thrusting, finger flicking, and trunk twisting. TD symptoms can range from mild to severe, based on the frequency and intensity of the movements. When severe, movements such as choreoathetotic tongue movements can be seen at the rate of 66 per minute.1 The movements are often reduced when the patient voluntarily moves affected body parts and are increased when the patient moves unaffected body parts. The abnormal movements usually decrease with emotional arousal, increase with relaxation, and disappear during sleep.Source: Stacy M, Cardoso F, Jankovic J. Tardive stereotypy and other movement disorders in tardive dyskinesias. Neurology Persons at risk: Elderly women, Patients who have used dopamine-receptor antagonists (DRAs) for more than 3 months, Diabetics, independent of their use of DRAs, although the risk increases with the use of DRAs, Patients with drug-induced parkinsonism, Persons with phenylketonuria Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. General sweeping. 3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize the heart through th back heart chakra with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV. 4. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and on the the liver. Energize the solar plexus with LWG then with LWO. Apply more localized sweeping. 5. Energize the solar plexus chakra with LWG then with LWB. When energizing the solar plexus with LWG, visualize the chakra becoming smaller. Do not over inhibit the solar plexus chakra. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the different sections of the brain and the chakras of the head: crown chakra, ajna chakra, back head minor chakra, forehead chakra, jaw minor and temple minor chakras and the throat and secondary throat chakras alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. 7. Rescan the brain. The different sections of the brain have to become balanced. Repeat thorough cleansing if the brain is not yet balanced. 8. When the different sections of the brain has become balanced, energize the chakras with LWG, then with more of ordinary LWV. Energize the affected parts of the brain with LWG , LWV then with gold. 9. Localizied sweeping on the entire spine and the sides of the spine alternately with LWG then ordinary LWV. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the arms and legs and their minor chakras, the sole of the feet and the hands alternately with LWG and ordinary LWV. Energize the minor chakras with LWG then with more of ordinary LWV. 11. Localized thorough sweeping on the sex, navel and the basic chakras. Energize them with LWR. 12. Apply distributive sweeping several times in front and at the back. 13. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. 14. Repeat treatment 3 times per week. 15. Teach the patient the proper practice of the Meditation on Twin Hearts. Please advise her to regularly practice the Meditation after her shower before bedtime. This is better done with both feet in a basin filled with sufficient water ( mixed with dissolved salt and several drops of lavender essential oil) to completely submerege her feet. This facilitates the release of old diseased energy, relax her nerves, create a general sense of well being, raise and refine her energy to facilitate proepr assimilation of healing energy and assist in the regeneration process. Love, Marilette =============================================================== Dear Marilette, Namaste! Please help me with the protocol to heal this illness in a female in her fifties, who took a narcoleptic against depression five years ago and this caused a lesion in her left front brain lobe that makes her tremble every time she is awake and active. I have been applying the Parkinson's treatment in the meantime three times a week with no improvement so far (three months), with the addition of energizing her brain with green and gold for regeneration purposes. She only gave me the medical diagnosis of her disease now. Thanks and regards, Maria Elena Garcia Maria Elena Garcia <meg wrote: Dear Marilette, Sorry, but I am having problems with the email address that I have registered in the and the message below has been bouncing back or something because I did not receive an answer.
