Guest guest
" Dear Marilette, Namasté! 1. I have a female friend about 45 years old who felt unwell so she went to the hospital. After many tests she was told she had significantly low hemoglobine count in her blood and fairly low white globules. So far the doctors do not know what could be causing this or the name of her illness so she is forced to stay inactive (she can not go to work) but can not get a tratement for what she has. This is a difficult situation because she needs to earn money... 2. Scleroderma is a rare, chronic, progressive disease that leads to hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues — the fibers that provide the framework and support for your body. It usually begins with a few dry patches of skin on the hands or face that begin getting thicker and harder. These patches then spread to other areas of the skin. In fact, scleroderma literally means " hard skin. " In some cases, scleroderma also affects the blood vessels and internal organs. Scleroderma is one of a group of arthritic conditions called connective tissue disorders. In these disorders, a person's antibodies are directed against his or her own tissues. There are two types of scleroderma: A. Localized scleroderma mainly affects the skin. There are two types of localized scleroderma: - Morphia (hard, oval shaped patches on the skin. The patches usually are whitish with a purplish ring around them.) - Linear (lines or streaks of thickened skin in areas such as the arms, legs or forehead.) B. Generalized scleroderma may affect many parts of the body. There are two types of generalized scleroderma: - Limited scleroderma occurs gradually and affects the skin and later may affect internal organs, such as esophagus, lungs or intestines. - Diffuse scleroderma develops more suddenly, with skin thickening throughout the body. Internal organs can also be affected. Researchers haven't established a definitive cause for scleroderma. It's more common in women than in men and more common in adults than in children. Scleroderma can run in families, but in most cases it occurs without any known family tendency for the disease. It's not considered contagious or cancerous, but this chronic condition can greatly affect self-esteem and the ability to accomplish everyday tasks. Pranic Healing: 1.
