Medical Background: The word exophthalmos comes from the Greek language and means the ‘bulging’ or protrusion of the eyeballs. Exophthalmos is not a disease in itself but a sign of another condition, usually something that affects the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is located in the neck and controls metabolism (the rate at which your body uses energy). Hyperthyroidism (particularly Graves' disease) is probably the most common cause of bulging eyes. With this condition, the eyes don't blink very often and seem to have a staring quality. Grave’s disease is a type of auto-immune disease (in which the immune system attacks certain tissues in the body) that causes an overactive thyroid gland. In most cases exophthalmos affects both eyes. When only one eye protrudes this is usually called proptosis. The term proptosis is used to refer to the protrusion of any organ in the body. Proptosis (bulging eye), is usually secondary to an intraorbital space-occupying lesion. The term is sometimes used as a synonym of exophthalmos, which is more accurately used in thyrotoxicosis or 'overactive thyroid' or hyperthyroidism. The main causes of proptosis are: intraorbital intraconal space-occupying lesions such as cavernous angiomas, meningiomas, and optic nerve glioma; orbital wall lesions such as fibrous dysplasia, neurofibromatosis and meningioma; and miscellaneous conditions such as pseudotumour, lymphoma and lacrimal gland tumour. Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. General sweeping twice. 3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra, and on the liver. Energize the solar plexus with LWG and LWO. Apply more localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and on the liver. 4. Energize the front and back solar plexus chakra with LWG, ordinary LWV and LWB. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize through the back heart chakra with LEV. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the forehead chakra, crown chakra, temple minor, back head minor and jaw minor chakras. Energize them with LEV. 12. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra alternately with LWG and LWO. Energize with white. 13. Localized thorough sweeping on the navel chakra. Energize with white. 14. Stabilize and release projected energy. 15. Repeat treatment three times per week. She was treated and she got normal. Nowadays she goes on checking her thyroids function. And everything is OK. She takes levotiroxin 50mg. But two months ago she noticed that her right eye had enlarged. Her vision got reduced too.
