There are several types of dizziness:

-vertigo

-light-headedness

-imbalance-disequilibrium

-psychic change

 

To determine the proper protocol for this patient,

kindly interview poatient and provide more details on

 

-any other conditions this patient experiences

together with dizziness e.g anemia, astigmatism, brain

injury, panic disorder, etc. ,

-a more detailed description of the dizzy feeling (

e.g. is itligh-headedness, feeling of unsteadiness on

feet and fear of walking or driving, feeling of

motions even if not moving physically,

-presence of pain in arm, double visions, tiny eye

movements, slurred speech,numbness in one side of the

body, numbness or tingling around mouth or of fingers,

hyperventillation, gasping for air, nervousness or

agitation, fainting, nausea and vomiting etc.
