Foot Cramps

I get these terribly painful foot cramps when

exercising (swimming,

biking -- when I put pressure on my feet [biking] or

point hard

[swimming]) which prevent me from finishing my

workout. I also have

neuromas in both feet...not sure if it's related to

the foot cramps

or not. Is there a protocol that I can use both for

preventing the

foot cramps and a protocol that I can use when I get a

painful cramp

to make it stop?

I've taken the beginning PH course but have

familiarity with colored

prana from practice with the You Can Heal Yourself

book.

Thank you very much,

Amy

Dear Amy,

Namaste.

You may want to consider taking the Advance Pranic

Healing class or at least get yourself a copy of the

Advanced Pranic Healing book by Master Choa Kok Sui.

The book contains detailed instructions and techniques

for the proper and efficient use of colors for healing

many ailments.

Medical Background:

Repeated rubbing of two bones together, will usually

cause the outer coating of a nerve in the foot to

swell which is called a neuroma or a Morton's neuroma.

It is most commonly affected between the metatarsal

heads of the third and fourth toe.

The pain from the neuroma may start gradually but may

become a severe and persistent pain. It is described

as a burning, cramping, or aching sensation but may

cause tingling or numbness. It usually occurs after

walking or standing on your feet for a long period of

time and is commonly found in people who wear

tight-fitting shoes. The pain is usually relieved by

removing the shoe and massaging the affected area.

Almost 90% of all Neuroma's are found in females

between the ages of 18 - 85 year old. Single neuroma's

are most common, however, instances of multiple

neuromas in the same foot have been reported. Morton's

Neuroma most often involves the nerve found in the

third interspace or the nerve that supplies sensation

to the third and forth toes.

The exact etiology of Morton's Neuroma is still

somewhat unclear, however, there are a number of

precipitating factors that can cause a localized

irritation to the nerve and thus may contribute to the

development of a neuroma.

-FOOTGEAR: Any shoe that is high-heeled or is

constricting may place the individual at higher risk

for developing a neuroma. Morton's Neuroma are

commonly found in women who have worn high heeled

shoes for many years or men who's occupation require

excessive stress of the forefoot such as kneeling or

climbing ladders or are required to wear constricting

shoegear.

-BIOMECHANICAL ABNORMALITIES: An unstable (pronated)

foot can predispose the foot to the development of a

neuroma. The excessive pulling on the common digital

nerve against the deep transverse intermetatarsal

legament results in irritation and eventually the

development of the neuroma.

-TRAUMA: Repetitive trauma that results from certain

activities such as basketball, tennis, aerobics,

running, etc., may precipitate the development of a

neuroma. Trauma resulting from an injury such as

fractures, sprains, dislocations, and crushing

injuries may cause a neuroma.

Pranic Healing:

Source - Advanced Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok

Sui.

1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment.

2. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire leg, the

perinium minor chakra, hip, knee, and sole minor

chakras alternately with LWG and LWO.

3. Energize the perineum, hip, knee and sole minor

chakras with LWR.

4. Localized thorough sweeping on the affected part

alternately with LWG and LWO.

5. Energize the affected part with LWG, LWO, then

with more of LWR.

6. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic, navel

and sex chakras. Energize them with LWR.

7. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy.

If this condition is one of long standing, repeat

treatment three times per week for as long as needed.

Avoid or minimize activities that precipitate or

aggravate the neuroma. Wear proper foot gear.

Love,

Marilette
