I have a patient who suffers from pre-eclampsy (hypertension during pregnancy affecting the umbilical cord resulting in deformation of fetus). After losing her first child, she is pregnant for the second time (10 wks). She is already experiencing similar symptoms like tintling sensation in her hands. Please let me know if there is a healing-protocol available for this. With thanks and in full faith, Michiel =================================================== Dear Michiel, Namaste. Medical Background: Preeclampsia is a disorder that occurs only during pregnancy and the postpartum period and affects both the mother and the unborn baby. Affecting at least 5-8% of all pregnancies, it is a rapidly progressive condition characterized by high blood pressure and the presence of protein in the urine. Swelling, sudden weight gain, headaches and changes in vision are important symptoms; however, some women with rapidly advancing disease report few symptoms. Typically, preeclampsia occurs after 20 weeks gestation (in the late 2nd or 3rd trimesters or middle to late pregnancy), though it can occur earlier. Proper prenatal care is essential to diagnose and manage preeclampsia. Preeclampsia, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension (PIH) and toxemia are closely related conditions. HELLP Syndrome and eclampsia are other manifestations of the same syndrome. It is important to note that research shows that more women die from preeclampsia than eclampsia and one is not necessarily more serious than the other. Preeclampsia is more common in a woman's first pregnancy and in women whose mothers or sisters had preeclampsia. The risk of preeclampsia is higher in women carrying multiple babies, in teenage mothers and in women older than age 40. Other women at risk include those who had high blood pressure or kidney disease before they became pregnant. The cause of preeclampsia isn't known. Preeclampsia can prevent the placenta (which gives air and food to your baby) from getting enough blood. If the placenta doesn't get enough blood, your baby gets less air and food. This can cause low birth weight and other problems for the baby. Most women with preeclampsia still deliver healthy babies. A few develop a condition called eclampsia (seizures caused by toxemia), which is very serious for the mother and baby, or other serious problems. Fortunately, preeclampsia is usually detected early in women who get regular prenatal care, and most problems can be prevented. Pranic Healing: 1. Play the MTH CD sofly in the background. 2. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 3. Gentle general sweeping. Pregnant women must be treated gently to avoid unecessary risks to the unborn child. Do not over energize. 4. Visualize the unborn child inside the womb. Project loving kindness to the child. Create an auric shield for the child with light pink and LWB in the outermost layer. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the patient's head area, the spine, the navel chakra and sex chakra. Energize the sex chakra with white. Energize the navel chakra very gently with a little white. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the umbilical cord. Energize it gently and slightly with LWG, LWB and ordinary LWV. 8. Scan the solar plexus chakra and meng mein chakras frontally and sideways to determine the degree of pranic congestion. Pregnancy makes the lower chakras larger than normal. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on both kidneys and the meng mein chakra. Energize the meng mein chakra with LB and simultaneously will it to normalize and become smaller to about the same size as the other major chakras. Rescan. 11. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra. Energize with LB and simultaneously will it to normalize and become smaller to about the same size as the other major chakras. Do not over inhibit the solar plexus chakra. Rescan. Steps 8 to 11 may be repeated after two hours to check if the chakras have become over activated again and require repeat treatment. 12. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back spleen chakra. Do not energize. 13. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize through the back heart with LWG and more of ordinary LWV. Simultaneously visualize the heart chakra becoming bigger and brighter. 14. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra. Energize gently and slightly with white or LWR. 15. Localized thorough sweeping on the brain, ajna, forehead, backhead minor, crown, jaw minor, throat and throat minor chakras. Energize the chakras gently with a little of LWG and then with a little of ordinary LWV. Do not over energize. 16. Stabilize and release projected energy. 17. Repeat treatment several times per week. Advise the patient to regularly have medical follow up monitoring during entire pregnancy.
