Otherwise, he is fine (considering age etc) PL ====================================================== Dear PL, Namaste. Medical Background: The rotator cuff is made up of muscles and tendons. It holds the top of the upper arm into the shoulder joint (socket). A rotator cuff injury is when one or more of these muscles are torn. The rotator cuff may be torn a little or the whole cuff may be torn. Healing time depends on how bad the tear or injury is to the cuff. Most torn rotator cuffs occur in the arm that is used most. This injury may be caused by a fall, or accident. It may happen when you fall and try to break your fall with your hand out. Throwing, heavy lifting, or falling on your shoulder can cause this injury. Rotator cuff injuries are common in baseball, tennis, football, and skiing. Tendons may become inflamed from overuse, aging,or collision. Occupations requiring heavy lifting also place a strain on rotator cuff tendons and muscles. Normally, tendons are strong, but a long-standing wearing down process may lead to a tear. Shoulder pain may be a sign of a torn rotator cuff. The arm may not be able to move well, especially away from the body. The shoulder may feel weak, numb, or tingly. A person may also feel or hear a click or pop when the shoulder is moved. Pranic Healing: " If the tendon has been completely torn, it is adviseable to have it sewn together. Pranic healing can be applied to accelerate the healing process. " GMCKS 1. Localized thorough cleansing on the armpit minor chakra. Energize it with LWR. 8. Localized thorough sweeping on the nipple minor chakras. Energize with white. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra and navel chakra. Energize them with LWR. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra. Energize with white. 11. Since this is an elderly patient, the other major chakras: crown, ajna, forehead, throat, heart, sex and meng mein chakra must also be treated to further improve the rate of healing. NOTE: Do not energize the meng mein chakra. Energize the heart chakra through the back heart chakra. 12. Stabilize and release projected energy. 13. Repeat treatment three times per week for as long as necessary. Source: Advanced Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui.
