Mosquitoe bites result in lot of erythema, swelling and severe itching so much so that bleeding occurs due to scratching. We use to give him a anti histaminic (Cetrizine) to control the itching. He keeps complaining of 'mosquitoe bites' all over the body. Is there any protocol for these symptoms in PH. How do i go about it. I have finished the Basic & Advanced PH (color prana) about 3 weeks ago. Please help With regards charan =================================================== Dear Charan, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: Mouthparts of biting insects can be classified into 3 broad groups: piercing and/or sucking, sponging, and biting and/or chewing. Insects discussed in this article generally are non-venomous, yet many species inject saliva while biting. Their saliva may aid in digestion, inhibit coagulation, increase blood flow to the bite, or anesthetize the bite locus. Most lesions are the result of the victim’s immune response to these insect secretions. When the mosquito stabs her needle-like mouthparts through the skin of her victim, a minor puncture wound to the skin, she injects her saliva -- teeming with digestive enzymes and anticoagulants. The first time a person is bitten, there is no reaction. With subsequent bites, the person becomes sensitized to the foreign proteins, and small, itchy, red bumps appear about 24 hours later. This is the most common reaction in young children. After many more bites, a pale, swollen hive, or wheal, begins to appear within minutes after a bite -- followed by the red bump 24 hours later. This is the most common reaction in older children and adolescents. With repeated mosquito bites, some people begin to become insensitive again, much as if they had allergy shots. Some older children and adults get no reaction to mosquito bites (unless they go for a long time without being bitten -- then the process can start again). Other people become increasingly allergic with repeated stings. They can develop blistering, bruised, large inflammatory reactions. For these people, avoiding being bitten is a particularly good idea. Pranic Healing: Source - Advanced Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui. 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2.
