Guest guest
Dear C.P., Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: The symptoms listed below can be bought on by loss of ovarian function, loss of hormone production, loss of hormones, menopause and related conditions. For younger women early detection along with medical consultation/treatment may lessen the long term risks and effects of early menopause. Menopause, early menopause, peri-menopause, surgical menopause, hormone imbalance, hormone shock Premature ovarian failure (POF), primary ovarian insufficiency Symptoms: -Hot flashes -Night sweats -Cold flashes, clammy feeling, chills -Bouts of rapid heart beat -Irritability -Mood swings, sudden tears -Trouble sleeping through the night (with or without night sweats) -Irregular periods; shorter, lighter periods; heavier periods, flooding; phantom periods, shorter cycles, longer cycles -Skipped periods (amenorrhea) -Loss of libido, Loss of sex drive -Dry Vagina -Pain during sex -Atrophic Vaginitis: Symptoms of atrophic vaginitis include vaginal dryness, vaginal itch or a burning sensation (can radiated from whole area), painful sexual intercourse, light bleeding after intercourse. Long term effects of the hormonal depleted state: -Osteoporosis: After menopause the rate of bone loss rapidly accelerates. A young woman in a hormonal depleted state or experiencing a menopause related condition is at higher risk for greater bone loss resulting in the condition of osteopenia manifesting earlier in life and more severe and fatal cases of osteoporosis later in life. -Heart Disease: Women's risk of heart disease increase after menopause. A young woman in a hormonal depleted state is at higher risk for developing earlier and more severe, fatal cases of heart disease. -Dental health can be affected do to bone and calcium loss. -Eyesight can be affected due to changes in hormone levels. -Brain Function can be affected due to changes in hormone levels. -Thyroid Function can be affected due to changes in hormone levels. The younger the woman and the more severe the untreated hormonal depleted state will cause the percent and degree of the short term and long term effects to vary (rise) as time goes on. The long term effects on bone health, heart health, dental health, and brain function may not be 100% reversible with treatment (HRT). Changes can occur which are not reversible. Early detection of menopause and related conditions with medical consultation/treatment may lesson the long term risks and effects. Because some of the symptoms listed above are also symptoms related to hypothyroidism, diabetes, iron deficiency, depression and other health conditions the medical community often misdiagnoses young women who are suffering from early menopause or menopause related conditions. It is common for young women to be tested for heart conditions or to be diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibermylogla, common depression, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), common allergies, etc... prior to obtaining a diagnosis of early menopause. For a proper diagnosis, the attending physician will consider and check for all possible health conditions including menopause or menopause related conditions. Physicians can not tell with out ordering the proper testing if the patient is experiencing a menopause related condition or not. They can not tell by simply looking at the patient and say that the patient is indeed experiencing a hormonal imbalance, what type of imbalance it is, or what the best course of treatment would be. The findings or diagnosis of hypothyroidism, diabetes, anemia, and or depression does not rule out that a menopause related hormone imbalance is not also occurring. The findings or diagnosis of " normal " thyroid, insulin, and iron levels does not rule out that a menopause related hormone imbalance is not occurring. Researchers at the University of Toronto and The Toronto Hospital have discovered a biological basis for the phantom sensations that are frequently experienced on the missing limbs of amputees. An area of the brain called the thalamus functions as a relay centre in the brain, receiving messages from the surface of the body (input) and sending these impulses to higher centres in the brain (output) to interpret where and how the sensation is perceived. The thalamus is a mass of nerve cells centrally located in the brain just below the cerebrum and resembling a large egg in size and shape. The thalamus is a routing station for all incoming sensory impulses except those of smell, transmitting them to higher (cerebral) nerve centers. In addition, it connects various brain centers with others. Thus the thalamus is a major integrative complex, enabling sensory stimuli to evoke appropriate physical reactions as well as to affect emotions. With the hypothalamus , the thalamus establishes levels of sleep and wakefulness. It is also vital to the neural feedback system controlling brain wave rhythms. Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke. 2.
