Cry for help

Dear Marilette and Phqanda group,

 

This is a cry for help.

 

I have a female patient with a very abusive husband and in-laws. She is at

the end of her tether. Her psychiatrist has prescribed anti-depressants but

these are no use without addressing the root of the problem which is the

husband's aggressive and irritable nature. He is verbally abusive (nothing

she does is ever right) and also phsyically abusive and threatening and

violent. His family chiefly the mother, sister and brother's wife are also

jealous and abusive of the wife who is very unhappy and suicidal.

 

I have done the basic and advanced courses more than a year ago and

therefore am very rusty with the scanning.

 

I am very afraid the wife will attempt self-harm if something is not done

speedily as the husband is steadily worsening towards her.

 

I would be immensely grateful if you would you scan the husband and treat

him so that he calms down and acts loving to the wife. He is 42 years old

and is called Dev. Please also scan the wife and treat her so that she is

lifted out of this despair.

 

She is also suffering from an extreme apathy and unable to undertake any job

either around the home or outside. She lacks the energy to apply for a job

although highly qualified and will not even leave the house to meet people,

restricting all contact to the telephone.
