Guest guest
Dear Lizelle, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical Background: Irritable bowel syndrome, or IBS, is a problem that affects mainly the bowel, which is also called the large intestine. The bowel is the part of the digestive system that makes and stores stool. The word syndrome means a group pattern of symptoms. IBS is a syndrome because it can cause several symptoms. For example, IBS causes cramping, bloating, gas, diarrhea, and constipation. IBS is not a disease. It's a functional disorder, which means that the bowel doesn't work as it should. It is non life threatening. The underlying cause of this disorder is an abnormality in the way the intestinal muscles contract. These muscles, which form the outer layer of the intestine, work automatically to move food products along the intestine to the rectum and out the anus. IBS is a disorder of the function of the intestinal muscles. Even when the muscles appear normal under a microscope, they may not function normally, contracting too forcefully or weakly, too slowly or rapidly, at certain times. With IBS, the nerves and muscles in the bowel are extra-sensitive. For example, the muscles may contract too much when you eat. These contractions can cause cramping and diarrhea during or shortly after a meal. Or the nerves can be overly sensitive to the stretching of the bowel (because of gas, for example). Cramping or pain can result. IBS can be painful. But it does not damage the bowel or cause any other diseases. Emotional stress will not cause a person to develop IBS. But if you already have IBS, stress can trigger symptoms. In fact, the bowel can overreact to all sorts of things, including food, exercise, and hormones. Foods that tend to cause symptoms include milk products, chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, carbonated drinks, and fatty foods. In some cases, simply eating a large meal will trigger symptoms. Women with IBS often have more symptoms during their menstrual periods. The main symptoms of IBS are : -crampy pain in the stomach area (abdomen) -painful diarrhea or constipation Most people have either diarrhea or constipation, but some people have both. Other symptoms are: -mucus in the stool -swollen or bloated abdomen -the feeling that you have not finished a bowel movement PRANIC HEALING TREATMENT: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. Scan and rescan before, during, and after the treatment. 2. General sweeping several times. 3. Localized sweeping on the front and back solar plexus and the navel chakras, the liver, the entire abdominal area and the large intestines thoroughly. Energize solar plexus and navel chakras with LWG, LWB, then with more of ordinary LWV. If solar plexus is over activated, inhibit by projecting LB to the solar plexus chakra. Simultaneously visualize or will the solar plexus becoming smaller, to about the same size as the average size of the other major chakras. Do not over inhibit to solar plexus. 4. If there is pain, apply localized sweeping and energizing on the affected part alternately with LWG and LWB, several times for as long as necessary and until patient is relieved. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakra. Energize through the back heart chakra with LWG, then with ordinary LWV. Visualize the heart chakra becoming brighter. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the entire spine from the base of thehead to the end of the tail bone, and the sides of the spine. 7. Localized thorough sweeping on the basic chakra. Energize with LWR. Visualize the energy being properly distributed to the muscles of the lower intestines. 8. Localized thorough sweeping on the ajna, forehead, crown, and backhead chakras. Energize with LWG and more of ordinary LWV. While energizing the ajna chakra, firmly but gently instruct the ajna chakra to distribute the healing energy properly to harmonize the other chakras. 9. Stabilize and release projected energy. Repeat 2 to 3 times a week. Recommend: 1. Daily proper practice of the Meditation on Twin Hearts . 2. Regular physical exercise. 3. Avoid stress and food that trigger the syndrome like milk products, chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, carbonated drinks, and fatty foods. If symptoms persist or the ailment is severe, please consult immediately a medical doctor and a Certified Pranic Healer . ~ Master Choa Kok Sui Miracles do not happen in contradiction to nature, but only to that which is known to us in nature. ~ St. Augustine The New with improved product search
