Guest guest Report post Posted September 25, 2003 Dear Marilia, Namaste. Thank you for your email. There are several degrees of depression. Based on your description, this individual is going through the middle to severe stage of depression. Depending on how prolonged the condition is sustained without intervention and how susceptible this person is to deeper depression, the condition can become a habitual lifestyle or deteriorate to what is known as clinical depression. At any stage, depression would have physical manifestations not only in behaviour but also in the chemical balance of the brain. The question is which comes first -- the physical or the energy manifestation of the illness? As pranic healers, we have been taught to heal the energy body because disease manifests first in the subtle energy body before it manifests in the visible physical body. When pranic healing is done to complement orthodox treatment or medicine, the rate and quality of healing is greatly improved. Depression affects the ajna, crown, back heart, solar plexus, spleen, navel and basic chakras. Depending on the degree of depression, the other chakras will eventually also be affected. Pranic Healing: 1.) Apply pranic psychotherapy for severe depression - Pranic Psychotherapy by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, pp. 140-141. 2.) Create permeable chakral shields on the crown, ajna solar plexus and basic chakras, and a peremable auric shield. 3.) If the person has any other medical condition, treat with applicable pranic healing protocol. 4.) Create a positive thought entity for the patient- PP, page 209; 5.) For patient - Daily physical exercises for at least one hour per session. This is very important. 6.) If patient has any degree of intention to improve, teach her/him - a.) the proper practice the Meditation on Twin Hearts and for this person to practice every day. This will raise and refine the energy level, cleanse the energy body (expel negative elementals and seals cracks in the protective web to a certain degree), improve the connection to the soul. b.) pranic breathing (6-3-6-3)for 12 cycles, do several times per day. c.) how to create a positive self image PP pages 101-102. 7.) Patient: -regular coffee-salt bath or salt water bath or about 20 drops of lavender oil in bath water. Soak in bath water for about 5 to 15 minutes each time. -Avoid negative thoughts, feelings, activities and environment; -take a healthy balance nutritious diet and sufficient amounts of water daily. Love, Marilette ===== Pranic Healing is not intended to replace orthodox medicine, but rather to complement it. If symptoms persist or the ailment is severe, please consult immediately a medical doctor and a Certified Pranic Healer . ~ Master Choa Kok Sui Miracles do not happen in contradiction to nature, but only to that which is known to us in nature. ~ St. Augustine
