Guest guest
Dear Juergen, Namaste, Thank you for your email. Medical Background: The thyroid gland lies in the neck, just below the Adam's apple. It measures about 2 inches across, shaped like an open-winged butterfly and normally cannot be seen. Thyroid hormone is responsible for controlling the activity as well as energy use of the body's organs --in fact, almost every metabolic process is affected by it. The thyroid gland secretes hormones which control the body's metabolic rate in two primary ways: by stimulating tissue response in the body to produce proteins and by increasing cell oxygenation. To produce these vital hormones, the thyroid needs the element iodine, which is ingested from food and water. The regulation of thyroid hormone levels is controlled by several mechanisms. The hypothalamus, located in the brain just above the pituitary gland, secretes thyrotropin-releasing hormone, which triggers the pituitary to release thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). When the amount of thyroid hormone in the blood reaches a certain level, the pituitary will produce less TSH; conversely, when the amount of thyroid hormone in the blood decreases to a certain level, the pituitary produces more TSH. The thyroid gland secretes two significant hormones: a.) thyroxine (T4) b.) triiodothyronine (T3). Calcitonin (thyrocalcitonin) is another hormone secreted by the thyroid. Persons who have surgery to remove the thyroid gland need to take thyroid hormones for the rest of their lives. Lowering the intake of calories (dieting) has the unfortunate consequence of diminishing production of T3, which in turn lowers the basal (resting) metabolic rate, which alone can lead to weight gain even if a person still has the thyroid gland intact. The enzyme that converts T4 to T3 is called 5-monodeiodinase. Unfortunately, this enzyme is inhibited in response to diminished caloric intake (dieting). That means that the fewer calories ingested, the lower the production of 5-monodeiodinase. This is the body's natural method of conserving fuel during shortage. Because " dieting " is not a natural state, it elicits the same physical reaction as famine--another reason why " eating less " will never effectively treat obesity. Deficient peripheral conversion of T4 to T3 is found almost universally in patients who become overweight. Pranic Healing: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. General sweeping twice. 3. Localized thorough sweeping on the brain, the pituitary minor chakra, ajna, backhead minor, forehead and crown chakras. Energize the chakras with LWG then more of ordinary LWV. 4. Localized thorough sweeping on the jaw minor chakras and throat chakra. Energize with LWG then more of ordinary LWV. When energizing the throat chakra, visualize it becoming bigger and brighter. 5. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back heart chakras and the thymus gland. Energize through the back heart using LWG and more of ordinary LWV. Simultaneously visualize the heart chakra becoming brighter and bigger. 6. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakra and the liver. Energize with LWG and LWO. Apply more sweeping. If the solar plexus is over activated, inhibit by energizing with LB and simultaneously willing it to become smaller. Do not over inhibit. 7. Localized thorough sweeping on the spleen chakra. Energize with white. If patient has high blood pressure, do not energize, just sweep thoroughly. If patient experiences radical reaction like pain, immediately apply localized sweeping until relieved. 8. Localized thorough sweeping on the meng mein chakra and both kidneys. Energize with white. If patient has hypertension, energize meng mein chakra with LB and inhibit the chakra up to 1/2 the average size of the other major chakras. 9. Localized thorough sweeping on the lower abdominal area and the navel chakra. Energize the navel chakra with LWG then more of ordinary LWV. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the sex and basic chakras. Energize the chakras with LWR. 11. Localized sweeping on the perinium chakra. Energize with white. 12. Localized sweeping on the minor chakras of both arms and legs including the minor chakras of the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Energize the chakras using LWR. 13. Apply distributive sweeping. 14. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. 15. Repeat treatment 3 times per week. Recommend: Patient- 1. Regular proper regular practice of the Meditation on Twin Hearts unless there are other medical condtions that prevent the proper practice of the meditation. The meditation will raise the energy level to facilitate the proper cleansing and energizing of the energy body. This improves the assimilation of projected healing energy. 2. Daily low impact physical exercises like brisk walking, swimming, cycling, aerobics and hatha yoga. Each exercise session must be 30-60 minutes minimum. This raises the rate of metabolism as well as cleanses and strengthens the physical and etheric body. 3. Take proper amounts of mineral water daily. 4. Take a balanced healthy nutritious diet in correct portions and distribution. Please consult a qualified nutritionist for the specific dietary requirements of the individual. 5. Engage in a productive and enjoyable hobby and/or service others. 6. Avoid negative thoughts, emotions, activities and environment. If symptoms persist or the ailment is severe, please consult immediately a medical doctor and a Certified Pranic Healer . ~ Master Choa Kok Sui Miracles do not happen in contradiction to nature, but only to that which is known to us in nature. ~ St. Augustine
