Thank you Patricia ======================================== Dear Patricia, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Medical background: Candida Candida albicans, and other strains of Candida are yeast that normally inhabits our digestive system: the mouth, throat, intestines and genitourinary tract. Candida is a normal part of the bowel flora (the organisms that naturally live inside our intestines, and are not parasitic). It has many functions inside our digestive tract, one of them to recognize and destroy harmful bacteria. Without Candida albicans in our intestines we would be defenseless against many pathogen bacteria. Healthy person can have a millions of Candida albicans. Our immune system is suppose to keep it under control, together with " friendly " bacteria (Lactobacillus acidophilus , B. bifidum, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, S. thermophilus and L. salivarius, ...). If the number of friendly bacteria is decreased (antibiotics, pesticides, chlorine,...) in relation to a number of Candida, the immune system is weakened or other conditions for yeast proliferation occur (diet high in sugar, improper pH in the digestive system) Candida albicans will shift from yeast to mycelial fungal form and start to invade the body. In the yeast state Candida is a non-invasive, sugar-fermenting organism, while in fungal state it is invasive and can produce rhizoids, very long root-like structures. Rhizoids can penetrate mucosa or intestinal walls, leaving microscopic holes and allowing toxins, undigested food particles and bacteria and yeast to enter the bloodstream. These condition is known as Leaky Gut Syndrome, one more name for the food and environmental intolerances. A fungal or yeast infection of the esophagus (a muscular tube that carries food -- it leads from the back of the mouth to the stomach). Oral candida or thrush is an unusual finding in the young adult, although it is somewhat more common in the elderly. It often heralds a decrease in the strength of the immune system. People with AIDS or others with compromised immune systems (organ transplant recipients, diabetics, those undergoing chemotherapy, and those with leukemia or lymphoma) are at risk for candidal infections. Candidal esophagitis occurs when the organism spreads from the mouth down the esophagus. Swallowing becomes difficult and painful. Fever may occur if there is further dissemination (spreads) of the fungus. Oral thrush or yeast infection predisposes an immunocompromised person to esophagitis. Pranic Healing Treatment: 1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 2. Apply general sweeping several times. 3. Localized thorough sweeping on the front and back lungs. Energize back lungs using LWG, LWO then LWV. 4. After a few minutes, repeat step 3 two more times, scanning after each time. This step is very important. 5. Localized sweeping on the front and back solar plexus chakras and the liver using LWG then LWV. Energize solar plexus with LWG, LWB then more of ordinary LWV. 6. For experienced advanced pranic healers, localized sweeping on the front and back solar plexus and liver using LWG, LWO then LWV. Energize with LWG, LWB then LWV. 7. Localized sweeping on the front and back spleen, kidneys and the navel chakras. Energize navel chakra with LWV. If spleen is painful, energize directly with LWG then LWV. Apply more sweeping. 8. Localized sweeping on the affected area using LWG, LWB then LWV. 9. Localized sweeping on the front and back heart chakras and the thymus gland. Energize through the back heart using LWV. 10. Localized thorough sweeping on the crown, ajna, forehead, and throat chakras. Energize them with LWG then LWV. 11. Localized sweeping on the basic chakra. Energize with LWR or WHITE. If patient has a fever, do not energize. 12. Sweep minor chakras of the arms and legs. Energize with LWR then LWV. If patient has fever, energize with LWV only. Do not energize with LWR. If LWV is used, do not repeat this step more than once within the same day. Steps 11 and 12 are used to stimulate the production of white blood cells. 13. Stabilize and release projected pranic energy. Repeat treatment 3 times per week as needed. Source: APH book by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui Recommend: 1. Diet to inlcude plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in natural form or juiced with the least processing. 2. Avoid dairy products, sugars including natural and artificial, overly processed and artficial food colors and flavor enhancers, breads with yeast or leveners, any foods that flare up allergic reactions for the patient. Avoid stressful activities, thoughts and emotions. 4. Regular daily light physical exercises. 5. Daily proper practice of the Planetary Meditation for Peace ( also known as Meditatuion on Twin Hearts) preferably in group to magnify the healing energy and hasten recovery.
