Guest guest
Wed, 23 Oct 2002 21:58:33 -0700 (PDT) " Aqua Regia " <cmrpseg Dear Marilette: I had posted the following query on 16th Oct. seeking some help on treating a lady friend (aged 37yrs)who seems to have problems of anxiety, inferiority complex, lack of self esteem, depression and lack of faith and trust in her husband. Your reply to Mr Surendra's mail has encouraged me to repeat my mail of 16th Oct. Hence firtsly, to seek your advise I am repeating the mail: I have a friend who seems to be afflicted with psychotic paranoia due to which she suffers from acute feeling of suspicion/persecution complex and which is adversely impacting her married life leading to frequent marital breakdown problems. The psychiatrist consulted by her husband says she needs to undergo medication by which she will overcome this problem. The lady is otherwise very intelligent, comes across as a normal human being like all of us, a bit introverted but in domestic life suffers from delusions and tendency to suspect/mis-understand her spouse and relatives. She does not think she has this problem when confronted because she firmly beleives in her suspicions eventhough she has been presented with evidences to the contrary. She has also declined any medication including alternative therapies like pranic healing when suggested. 1. Can this be cured through PH? 2. If so, can the healing be administered without her knowledge? Distant Healing 3. Since she has declined to meet a psychiatrist, can it be cured only through PH? Thanks for your patience and response. [uNQUOTE] Update since 16th Oct: The above mentioned lady has since left her husband to be with her relatives after an altercation arising from suspicion and negative thoughts. I have done " Basic Course " in PH and therefore do not have any knowledge of colour usage. I am encouraged by your guidance to Mr. Surendra. Would you be able to guide me how I can help the couple, especially the afflicted lady bearing in mind the following facts: 1. We know the city where she has gone, but not her postal address; 2. The lady did not beleive in PH when it was suggested to her at one time in the past; 3. We have her photo - can we apply distant healing on her without her knowledge; 4. Can I with just Basic Course knowledge (without resorting to colours) be able to treat her or should we seek advanced healer's help? As always, many thanks for your help and guidance and your patience in replying to the query. Namaste: Kind regards. ========================================= Dear CMRPSEG, Namaste. Thank you for your email. Pranic Psychotherapy treatment for uncooperative patients can be done. However, if the illness is full blown, one of the characteristics of this type of illness is the patient's inability to acknowledge his/her disease or seek treatment for it. It is advisable to facilitate healing by combining proper allopathic treatment complemented with distant pranic psychotherapy until the patient is capable of choosing to improve his/her condition. This illness is particularly devasting not only for the patient but to family members and friends because the illness affects the behavior more than just the physical body of the patient. Therefore, healing has to be done also for family and all those affected. Practice of compassion and mercy is needed in all levels. Medical backbground: Thought Disorder- Thought can be divided into process and content. Process refers to the way in which a person puts things together. An individual may have either an overabundance or a lack of ideas. Terms like flight of ideas(used in mania), and racing thoughts are used in this criteria. Content refers to what a person is actually is thinking about: ideas, beliefs, preoccupations, obsessions. Delusions, paranoia, phobias are included in this category. Depending on one's presentation, a thought disorder can either be psychotic (paranoia, delusions) or not (obsessions, phobias). Depression is an extremely common condition that affects more than 1 in 20 people in any one year in Western society. It is one of several hyperemotional states. A sudden loss of interest in life combined with a feeling of worthlessness may be associated with depression. Normally joy, sadness and grief are parts of everyday life. While a short period of depression in our response to daily problems is normal, a long period of depression and sadness is abnormal and is called " clinical depression " . Depression can run in families, partly because families tend to eat the same foods and pass from one generation to the next similar eating patterns, and partly through genetics. Depression may be associated with a variety of symptoms, including but not limited to: Persistent sadness and pessimism Feelings of loneliness, guilt, worthlessness, helplessness, or hopelessness Loss of interest or enjoyment in nearly every aspect of life Diminished ability to think or lack of concentration Insomnia or oversleeping Poor appetite associated with either weight gain or loss Fatigue, lack of energy Physical hyperactivity or inactivity Loss of interest in sex Physical symptoms such as headache, backaches, stomach troubles, constipation and blurred vision Anxiety, agitation, irritability Thoughts of suicide or death (90% of suicides result from depression) Slow speech; slow movements Drug or alcohol abuse A drop in school performance Most depressive episodes are triggered by stressful personal event such as loss of a loved one or change of circumstances, and depression over a short period is a normal coping mechanism. Long term stress may induce the body to have a metabolic imbalance in minerals which in turn induce depression. Depression can also be due to many other factors such as underlying disease (particularly hepatitis C), brain chemical imbalances requiring antidepressant drugs of one type or another, hormonal imbalance (particularly hypothyroidism), low cholesterol, Wilson's Disease, food allergy (particularly gluten intolerance), and adverse reaction to medications, each of which requires professional care. Basic PH techniques may be used for healing and you may also ask the assistance of a Pranic Psychotherapist. Pranic Healing Treatment for Depression using Basic Techniques: 1. Prepare by doing: a. Planetary Meditation for Peace ( also known as Meditation on Twin Hearts) properly including the physical exercises; b. pranic breathing for 10 cycles before and continue doing the pranic breathing during the entire treatment. 2. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment. 3. Localized sweeping and energiizing on the hand, sole, basic, navel, spleen and front and back solar plexus chakras. 4. Be aware of your crown. Keep your awareness on your crown while doing steps 5-7. 5. Cleanse the front and back heart chakras thoroughly. Energize through the back heart chakra. 6. Localized cleansing on the : entire head, especialy the sides of the head, the crown chakra, the ajna chakra, and the solar plexus chakra with the intention to remove all the stress energy, traumatic energy, and all negative thoughts, or thought entities from the chakras. Energize these areas with the same intention. 7. Sometimes the patient is filled with so much anger and frustration and on occassion becomes violent. The solar plexus and meng mein chakras are over active and have to be inhibited. Visualize the chakra becoming smaller or visualize the chakra and silently say, " ... smaller, smaller " . 8. Release and stabilze projected pranic energy. 9. Repeat treatment several times a week. Source: Pranic Psychotherapy by Master Choa Kok Sui pp. 136-138. Recommend: 1. Teach the patient's family to do the Planetary Meditation for Peace properly including the physical exercises. Everyday, practice and bless together as a family. Daily blessing of love, understanding, harmony, prosperity and good health will promote proper healing in several levels, security, good health, inner peace, harmony and spiritual growth for the entire family. 2. When the patient is considerabley better, daily practice of the Meditation will prevent relapse of the illness. 3. Maintain a reguilar daily phsyical exercise schedule of 30 minutes to one hour per session. 4. Proper balanced healthy diet.
