Namaste, Teresa.

Medical Background:

Trichotillomania is classified as an impulse control disorder as are conditions

such as compulsive gambling, kleptomania (compulsive stealing) and pyromania

(compulsive fire setting).

Impulse control disorders are characterized by the inability to control or

resist the temptation (or impulse) to do something harmful to oneself or someone

else. A sufferer sometimes experiences a sense of increasing tension before

performing the behavior and can feel a sense of relief or release of tension

afterwards. Sometimes people even express a degree of pleasure after having

performed the act.Features of trichotillomania that fit the description of an

impulse control disorder include the inability to resist urges to pull out one's

hair, mounting tension before pulling and feeling of relief afterward.

DSM-IV Definition More formally, the fourth edition of the American Psychiatric

Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV)

defines trichotillomania as: Recurrent pulling out of one's hair resulting in

noticeable hair loss. An increasing sense of tension immediately before pulling

out the hair or when attempting to resist the behavior. Pleasure, gratification,

or relief when pulling out the hair. The disturbance is not better accounted for

by another mental disorder and is not due to a general medical condition (e.g.,

a dermatological condition). The disturbance causes clinically significant

distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of

functioning. Not all patients who pull out their hair meet these strict

criteria. Nonetheless, they frequently have a distressing problem that might

very well benefit from treatment.

Pranic Treatment:

1. Apply general cleansing 3 times.

2. Apply Pranic Psychotheraphy for Uncontrollable Compulsions as given in the

Pranic Psychotheraphy book written by Master Choa Kok Sui ( Chapter 4).

Treatment every other day.

Recommend:

1. Unless patient has other conditions that does not allow the practice,

recommend the practice of the Planetary Meditation for Peace ( also known as

Meditation on Twin Hearts) daily.

2. Daily physical exercise and proper diets ( physical, empotional, mental).

Teresa Konieczna wrote: Dear Marilette! Thanks a lot for yor very helpful and

interesting nformation. How frequently would you perform the treatment session

of the verruca vulgaris of the plant and mycosis of the toe nails? Another

questions: Case 1(elderly lady): how would you treat the thrombosis of vena

femoralis (and possibly other venes in the tights). This patient gets

antithrombotic agents. Case 2: Areas on the front part of the head with

comparatively little, week and thin hair (as a consequence of trichotillomania).

I'm looking forward to your answer! Thanks so much! Wishing you a nice weekend

hat geschrieben: Namaste, Teresa. A plantar wart is a wart caused by a virus (

verruca vulgaris) which is located in the thickened skin of the sole. It may

look somewhat like a callus or even be covered over by one but it is a wart that

actually grows inward, deep into the foot. Look for the characteristic small,

dark spots with a stippled appearance, which give it away as a wart. It is

usually very painful.Mycosis of the toe nails is a fungal infection.Pranic

healing:1. Invoke and scan before, during and after treatment.2. General

cleansing.3. Apply localized sweeping on affected part using LWG then LWO

alternately. Energize with LWB, LWO then LWR.4. Sweep front and back heart

chakra. Energize back heart chakra with LWG and LWV , visualizing the energy

going to the thymus gland. Do not stabilze projected energy to prevent

congestion.5. Do the blood purifying technique described in the Advanced Pranic

Healing book by GMaster Choa Kok Sui.6. Thoroughly sweep front and back solar

plexus chakras and the liver. Energize solar plexus LWG, LWB then LWV .7. Sweep

spleen chakra. Carefully energize with LWV.8. Sweep basic chakra alternately

with LWG then LWO. Energize with LWR.9. Stabilize and release.Treatment at least

every other for as long as necessary.Soak feet before bedtime with warm water

with Tea Tree oil or with sea salt. Pat dry with clean towel .Disinfect all

footwear and shower floor. Improve quality of patient's daily diet for better
