Guest guest Posted April 20, 2001 Report Share Posted April 20, 2001 Dear MasterFe, Namaste, Kindly go through the EEG report given herein, of a lady patient who comes to our clinic, who has been complaining of Headache and breathlessness. The breathlessness gets relieved only when head is cleaned but recurs soon. Your advice is earnestly awaited. Gist of the EEG report: 1.Background consits of responsive symptoms of 8-9Hz alpha over posterior regions with beta frontally. 2. Intermittent slow wave discharges of 3-4.5 Hz lasting for 1-3 secs over left temporal regions at times seen on the right was enhanced by hyperventilation. 3. No spikes , spike and wave complexes seen. 4. Photic simulation was unremarkable. Remarks: Left frontal temporal structural abnormality without any evidence of epileptiform dysfunction.
