MEDICAL INFORMATION : HEAD INJURIES " Severe head trauma can tear, shear, or rupture the nerves, blood vessels, and tissues in or around the brain. Nerve pathways can be disrupted, and bleeding or severe swelling can occur. Bleeding, swelling, and a buildup of fluid (edema) have an effect similar to that caused by a mass growing within the skull. Since the skull can't expand, increasing pressure can damage or destroy brain tissue. Because of the brain's position in the skull, pressure tends to push the brain downward. The upper part of the brain may be forced into the opening that connects it with the lower part (brain stem), a condition called herniation. A similar type of hernitaion jam the cerebellum and brain stem through the opening of the base of the skull (foramen magnum) into the spinal cord. Herniations can be life-threatening because the brain stem controls such vital functions as heart rate and breathing. Brain damage often causes some degree of permanent dysfunction, which varies depending on whether the damage is limited to a specific area (localized) or more widespread (diffuse). Which functions are lost depend on which area of the brain is damaged. Specific, localized symptoms can help pinpoint the injured area. Changes may occur in movement, sensation, speech, sight, and hearing. Diffuse impairment of brain function can affect memory and sleep and can lead to confusion and coma. " EYE INJURIES " An impact forces the eye back into its socket, possibly damaging the structures of the surface (the lid, conjunctiva, sclera, cornea, and lens) and those at the back of the eye (retina and nerves). Such an impact may break bones around the eye as well. Damage to the inside of the eye is often more serious than damage to the surface. Bleeding into the front chamber of the eye (anterior chamber hemorrhage, traumatic hyphema) is potentially serious. Recurring bleeding and increased pressure within the eye may lead to blood staining of the cornea, which can reduce vision such as cataract does, and increase the life-long risk of glaucoma. Blood can leak into the inside of the eye, the iris (the colored part of the eye can be torn, or the lens can become dislocated. Bleeding may occur in the retina, which may become detached from its underlying surface at the back of the eye. Initially, retinal detachment may create images of irregular floating shapes of flashes of light and make vision blurry. In severe injuries, the eyeball can rupture. " PRANIC HEALING TREATMENT: 1. Visualize energies penetrating the brain cells. 6. Sweep front and back heart chakra. Energize back heart with LWG then with more of LWV. 7. Visualize energy going into the thymus gland. 8.
