Accepted for publication 10 July 1994. ---- ---------- Evans syndrome is defined as the simultaneous or sequential occurrence of Coombs' positive hemolytic anemia and immune thrombocytopenia without known underlying etiology. We are reporting a case of Evans syndrome in which the patient had recurrent thrombosis with elevated anticardiolipin antibodies. To our knowledge, this is the first case of such an association to be reported.
