MEDICAL INFORMATION: " Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or RSD is a type of neuropathic pain which is caused by an abnormality anywhere in the nerve pathway. An abnormality disrupts nerve signals, which are then abnormally interpreted in the brain. Neuropathic pain may cause a deep ache or burning sensation and other sensations such as hypersensitivity to touch. It is usually accompanied by swelling and sweating or changes in local blood flow or by changes in the tissues, such as atrophy or osteoporosis. Stiffening (contractures) of the joints makes them unable to bend ot straighten completely. Similar to reflex sympathetic dystrophty is a syndrome called causalgia, which may follow an injury or disease of a major nerve. As with RSD, causalgia produces severe, burning pain along with swelling, sweating, changes in blood flow, and other effects. The diagnosis of RSD or causalgia is important because some people will be helped dramatically by treatment with a special nerve block, called a sympathetic nerve block. This treatment isn't usually considered for other disorders. " PRANIC HEALING TREATMENT: 1. Apply general sweeping 3 times with LWG. 2. Energize the affected part with LWG. 3.
