Kindly advice about the line of treatment to be followed. Name ASWIN sex male age now 30 months The child was normal upto the age of 18 months but slowly the parents have noticed the following changes from 20 -- 22 months: 1.Loss of speech (he used to talk one or two words but totally lost it.) 2.Lack of concentration 3.Not responding to call 4. Aimlessly running around 5.walking on the toes 6.Not playing with toys 7. repetition of same sounds 8.lack of eye contact and unfocussed gaze 9.flapping of hands. 10.not understanding commands and no comprehensive skill 11.sweaty head and body, rough skin, cracks in skin in ankle region. 12. aversion to milk. 13. constipation 14.toilet trained earlier but totally forgot about it. 15.always alone and aloof. 16. interested in listening to music, not interested in repeating the words but does when prompted. 17. delayed sleeping. The child was delivered by caeasarean. Was not on any artificial food, liked milk very much upto 18 months. Used to sleep well. Was given the vaccination as per schedule: i.e oral polio, DPT, MMR, BCG,hepB. Started homeopathy medicine from july 2000 and is being continued. Speech therapy and behaviour therapy is being given. The kid is left in creche from august 2000 to enable mixing with other kids From sept 2000 onwards pranic healing is given 3 times a week as per book. Since the father of the kid, felt that the symptoms are similar to autism, induced by the presence of mercury in the preservative of vaccines especailly for Hep B and DPT, the steps suggested by you for autism is being followed for the last two weeks. The father of the boy is reporting the following changes (as of now) in the original symptoms: 1.speech is 50 % better. talks one word. 2.concentration is 50 % improved, but at times poor. 3.responds to calls sometimes. symptoms 4 and 5, 10 given above are better. 8. eye contact : noticeable improvement. 13. constipation : improvement is noticeable Kindly advice further course of action.
