Dear Master Fe,

We would like to thank you for your comprehensive treatment program

for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.

Mariam and I would be pleased to act as Project Coordinators. We can

Since Mariam was diagnosed with this condition, about five years ago,

we have done our best to look at and utilize standard medical

procedures, pranic healing, supplements, exercise therapy, etc. The

first thing we realized, five years ago, was that very few medical

doctors knew anything about the condition. In fact, we obtained much

of the most current information from the support websites off of the

Internet. The medical profession sponsored some of these and some

were organizations gathering information. The medical schools were

not even addressing the condition. We now find that some of the new

graduates from medical school have at least been exposed to the

condition and some research is now being done. The doctors who

generally know something about it are Rheumatologist or doctors who

have a special interest because someone close to them has the

condition. There is presently much information available on the

Internet.

If any of you have an interest in studying this condition and would

like to obtain a better understanding about how it affects the

individuals and their families, we suggest contacting a local

CFS/Fibromyalgia support group. What Mariam and I were hoping was

that we could interest the Pranic Healers in this project and try to

compile the data to be analyzed by the senior Pranic Healing

Instructors. From this, we might have something definitive to present

to the patients affected and further the benefits of Pranic Healing.

The first issue we would like to ask for help on pertains to those

patients who have Fibromyalgia. One of the symptoms can be extreme

pain in different parts of the body. There have been known cases of

suicide related to patients with this symptom. It is our

understanding that the nervous system can become so supersensitive

that even the normal activities induce great pain. Has anyone had

experience with this in themselves or their patients?
