Guest guest
the change is that many of the companies have switched to nanoparticles. Powder in general could cause problems but nanoparticles makes it that much worse because they are smaller and get in where other particles did not. The part of the show that worried me, is when they said the damage usually doesn't show up for 30 years (yikes!). Nanoparticles are also problems in lotions, such as sunscreens. I read some information in a baby book (I think it was something like baby sage wisdom??) that listed results of testing on child sunscreen and which ones used nanoparticles. The risk is that the chemicals in regular sunscreen couldn't be absorbed into the deep layers of the skin but the smaller nanoparticles DO penetrate. , " Lara Brown " <larabrown wrote: > > Interesting.
