Guest guest
Hello everyone, I'm new to the group and this is my first post - hope I'm doing this right A good friend of mine just released his book called " They're Making You Fat and Sick " and it is remarkable. For all those interested in getting healthy who don't have time to sift through all the information, this is a great " primer " for the newbies and enlightening for others who are more adept and looking to take their health to the next level. He covers everything from nutrition, to grain, insulin, supplements, food preparation, cod liver oil, raw milk, disease prevention, and is very much in line with WAPF (oddly, he is the one who first told me about Weston Price and his book). So I thought I would return the favor and tell all of you about him and his work. His website is... www.perfecthealthinstitute.com He is also a health coach, CPA, amateur archaeologist, and has 20+ years research into nutrition. IF you buy another book this year it should be this one. Here is the review I wrote for his book on Amazon... " I considered myself to be in " good health " before reading this groundbreaking book, but realized that it was a far cry from the PERFECT HEALTH I attained after implementing the simple, but profound, strategies and truths revealed in " They're Making You Fat and Sick " . I had studied and practiced the politically correct nutritional guidelines laid out by the government and the diet dictocrats while attending a major university, but was alarmed when they were contradicted by many studies done by Weston Price in the early 20th century and highlighted in Springer's work. It all seems like common sense now, but with the staggering amount of false and misleading information being parroted by doctors, scientists, and agents of the sick-care system, it can be a daunting task to figure out the real causes of dis-ease and how to prevent it. Well, no need to worry, because Springer has done it for us in an easy to read, concise, page-turner that connects all the dots. Do yourself a favor and READ THIS BOOK - it changed my life and will do the same for you!! "
Guest guest
Dear New Member: At the risk of sounding rude, I am suspicious of your intentions since you have suddenly joined many groups and have posted the same letter all over the Internet. If you were a long standing member of this group (or at least a newer one that actively contributed BEFORE putting out such a letter), I would take your post seriously. As is, I must assume this is a big sales pitch and you don't plan to be an active or contributing member of this group. Please stick around, get to know us and prove me wrong. I really like to look for the best in people and I *hope* I am wrong about your intentions. Sincerely, Celia --- On Wed, 1/27/10, shockdeez <mjshock wrote: shockdeez <mjshock[RFSL] great book to recommend!! Guest guest
Cee, I removed this person from the group after the letter was posted. I was going to give them a warning, but I saw their mail was set to No Mail, so I figured they were here just for spam purposes. Sorry for the spam.... Guest guest
Hey, no big deal, Cyndi. With an open group like this, ocassionally some spam gets through. <shrugs shoulders> All things considered, it's a small price to pay for "freedom of speech." I belong to some 'highly moderated' groups (as they call themselves) that would filter the spam before it gets to the list, but they also censor member's posts... I find *that* more disturbing than a little spam once in a while. Long live open groups! *wink* --Cee-- --- On Thu, 1/28/10, cyndikrall <cyndikrall wrote: cyndikrall <cyndikrallRe: [RFSL] great book to recommend!!
