Thank you and Veganism

Hi Cynthia,

I got a very unexpected and tremendous response

to the last email I sent.

Thank you so much if you wrote with advice and

encouragement.

Funny how life is. I talked about deficiencies and

balancing hormones for years and now my

hormones are balanced all right. They are balanced on the ground floor. GROUND ZERO

that is.

Yup. I am 60 on the inside.

Now I am feeling very passionate about letting everyone

know about my vitamin, protein and hormonal deficiencies

because I know there must be others out there with the same

thing.

I know I was given these issues to share them with others.

But I have to honest and say that this is "uncomfortable" now.

Not because we are talking about hormones and

deficiencies, but because I will now have to express

my opinions. I have tried to keep my personal opinions about certain things to myself because I don't want to offend people.

I have had to deal with the "people pleasing"

issue my whole life. I may never get over it. :-/

In any event I have to risk offending some people

with my latest video because I feel the message

of deficiencies is very important.

My only purpose with this video is to create awareness...

that is it.

I am not bashing anything but bringing more info

to the table so that you can make the healthiest

decision for you and your family.

Knowledge is power.

And my 2 cents might not be worth much, but it will

raise some questions that might make you investigate

further.

And learning is such a great thing. :-)

So here is what I think about veganism. :-)

Yes, it is...and I applaud her for having the guts to express a not-always-popular opinion. I used to be one of those people that looked at meat eaters as misguided. I used to think, "What? Meat and meat FAT can contribute to a healthy diet? No way!"

If I never researched or learned anything about the benefits of animal flesh in the human diet, I would still be convinced based on my own experiences as a former vegetarian/sometimes vegan and now a confirmed meat eater. I am healthier, happier and more satisfied today....

Agreed, especially long term. Some people make it work but I don't think it's healthy for anyone. Extremely healthy people, like my DIL and son, have the ability to sustain a diet like that much longer than those of us who have health issues. My son came out fine after many years of a vegan and vegetarian diet, but my health issues (as well as that of my mom and dad) were exacerbated by the lack of B-12, vitamin D and proper Omega balance. All 3 of us improved immediately once we reintroduced fish and meat into our diet. It's hard to convince those that believe otherwise though...they feel it's a conspiracy, LOL!
