Guest guest
This was a very good article on gluten intolerance, but I don't feel that it stresses testing as much as it should. If anyone out there has the slightest thought that they may be gluten intolerant, see your doctor and get tested immediately!! My Mother was diagnosed with Celiac disease 40 years ago, but suffered with it long before that. At 74 she's now suffering with osteoporosis, thanks to malabsorption caused by Celiac disease. Her specialist just took her off her osteoporosis pills as the Dr. thinks they might be making her sick. Gluten can be in almost anything, including your meds and vitamin pills! As a young girl, I witnessed how sick my Mother got from gluten. The symptoms gradually got worse to the point where she almost died before she was properly diagnosed. Gluten intolerance is nothing to self-diagnose or play with, so get tested! , cyndikrall wrote: > > Excellent info on gluten intolerance..... > >
