With the motto " REthink, REplenish, REcommit " , the GOING GREEN FILM FESTIVAL launches its official call for entries! Earlybird/Discounted Deadline approaches - August 31, 2009. $20 of EVERY entry fee will go towards Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) which produce clean energy. PRIZES INCLUDE: Your film watched, along with a personal meeting with an Agent from CAA or William Morris; Hybrid Electric Bicycles, Trees planted in the winners names, Fuji Film, Screenwriter software, Storyview software, Dramatica software ($499 value), Filmmaker Production software ($400 value) and more! (See site for additional prizes as they're added). The CATEGORIES Are: * GREEN PRODUCTION, where a film's production worked to lessen the carbon footprint left on the planet (ANY Genre of film) * OUR PLANET, where the film's topic covers third world issues, ecology, nature or the environment; and * HYBRID/ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION, where the film features a hybrid vehicle, bicycle, electric scooter or public transportation. (ANY Genre of film... Got a horror film with a Zombie riding a bike? It qualifies!)
