Number one on my bucket list is going canoe in camping in Kananaskis country and

climbing to the top of Mount Indefatigable.

Other than that taking my backyard off grass and putting in vegetables, native

plants, fruit trees and herbs.

Still building with recycled marble but the patio I think is done....until I

find another piece of granite that I like better or fits nicer...LOL Needless to

say I am holding off on the moss grout for a couple more weeks. The earth oven

plans are coming together, and the solar oven is just waiting for days off with

sunshine and time to piece it together.

There is also midsummer coming up and I am hoping to light up the yard with

candlelight and laughter, a trip to Saskatchewan in August to meet my husband's

family without a bride or a coffin involved. Working on his family's tree for

the kids, books to be read, wine, jams, marinara sauce to be made, garage sales

to be checked out, gardens to be weeded, flowers to be cut for the kitchen table

and seeds to be saved. And don't forget an afternoon picnic or two on the

beach, at a local historic site, or along a river bank just to get to know these

men and almost men in my life. It is truly amazing what you can learn when

there is no computer, video game or television.

Cheers

and enjoy your own bucket lists
