22 May 2009 Greetings!

On Memorial Day, I'm having a picnic party in my backyard organic garden and want to serve something sweet that's red, white, and blue for the occasion. I came up with a new twist on an old recipe: Strawberries with Cheesecake, topped with blueberries. Note this is not strawberry-topped cheesecakes, but rather big strawberries stuffed with a bite of cheesecake, topped with blueberries to make it red, white, and blue. The recipe suggests a variety of toppings, but for this celebration, just stuff the strawberries with cheesecake and put a blueberry or two or three on top. Have a wonderful three-day weekend!
